Today we welcomed back Nicole into our line-up after an injury Our new combination in goals worked well with thegirlsworkingwelltogethertocreate scoringopportunities. Themidcourters had to work hard all day with the slippery conditions and they were excellent with lots of drives providing easier opportunities Our defensive efforts across the court won us many intercepts and deflections and, in the circle, we worked hard to get every rebound. A good win in wet weather girls! We started slowly but once we adjusted to the conditions and were patient in our attacking approach, we were able to break away. Our full court defence approach was impressive, and Bell took sometimelyinterceptsthroughthemid court and Kalani finished off well under the post to be named in the best players. The Jacqui Matthews Incentive award went to Kalani for her long-range shooting!

Thegirlsplayedagreatdefensivegame, driven by Jeda Hibberd at GK who took numerous intercepts throughout the game.
