What’s YouthFest YouthFest, now in it’s sixth year, is a day of fun and entertainment planned for teens by teens. YouthFest is coordinated by Loudoun County’s Youth Advisory Council.
Get Involved School group, non-profit and business support of YouthFest helps provide teens a safe, fun event. Youth Advisory Council members are available to speak with your group or business about YouthFest. School Clubs, PTSO’s, PTA’s, teams and more are invited to participate in YouthFest 2011. Free exhibit space is available to school groups that would like to showcase their program or accomplishments. Creativity is encouraged! Host a quiz bowl, demonstrate a craft, hold an athletic competition, whatever represents your organization. Vendor opportunities for school groups are available. Your organization may sell snacks, drinks etc. as a fundraiser. Groups may also bring an attraction or an activity. Ideas include a fortune teller, souvenir making stations, inflatables and carnival games. Groups may charge for individual activities to cover costs. For example, a group may make arrangements for a dog tag machine and then charge teens at YouthFest a minimal amount to cover their cost. Register at www.loudounteens.org
Business Sponsorships Business and corporate sponsorships are available at different levels. Sponsors are featured on all YouthFest marketing materials and will have prime space during the event. Grand Sponsor - $10,000 (Filled for 2011) Event Sponsor - $2,500 to $5,000 Includes tent and display at YouthFest, Company name on all marketing materials, social media and website. Fliers will be distributed in schools, libraries, Rec Centers, neighborhood shopping plazas etc. Company name and logo on event signage, stage banner and volunteer t-shirts. Attraction Sponsor - $500 to $1,500 Businesses may sponsor and individual attraction or inflatable. Company name will be displayed at attraction. Non-Profit Organizations Free exhibit space is available for non-profit organizations. We can capture teens’ attention with fun attractions and provide them with useful information. Standard Exhibit Space includes a table, chairs and space in the non-profit exhibition area. Eye catching displays, interactive exhibits and promotional giveaways are encouraged. New this year, Premier Exhibit Spaces. Nonprofits that want to bring more to YouthFest may apply for a premier exhibit space. This includes attractions, carnival games, contests and more. These select spaces will be available throughout the site. All premier exhibitors will be listed on YouthFest marketing and event signage. Non-profits may charge for special attractions, only to cover their costs. Register at www.loudounteens.org.
