Importance of Arabic in Islam Lokking at my collection i reaised i need to tie something more into it and i though of using typography but arabic typography, as i know arabic is very important to us muslims, so i was online doing reasearch into why its important to us, i subbled onto this site called islam. about.com

it had some really good into why arabic is important to us, here is what it said: Ninety percent of the world’s Muslims do not speak Arabic as their native language. Yet in daily prayers, when reading the Qur’an, or even in simple conversations with each other,

Arabic rolls off any Muslim’s tongue readily. It may be broken or heavily accented, but most Muslims make the attempt to speak and understand at least some Arabic. Why is Arabic so important to understanding the faith of Islam?

Ninety percent of the world’s Muslims do not speak Arabic as their native language. Yet in daily prayers, when reading the Qur’an, or even in simple conversations with each other, Arabic rolls off any Muslim’s tongue readily. It may be broken or heavily accented, but most Muslims make the attempt to speak and understand at least some Arabic. Why is Arabic so important to understanding the faith of Islam? Regardless of their linguistic, cultural, and racial differences,

Muslims form one community of believers. This community is based on their shared faith in One Almighty God, and the guidance He has sent down to mankind. His final revelation to mankind, the Qur’an, was sent over 1400 years ago in the Arabic language. Arabic thus serves as a common language among this diverse community of believers. The original Arabic text of the Qur’an has been preserved from the time of its revelation. Translations have been done into various languages,

but they all refer back to the original Arabic. In order to fully understand the magnificent words of their Lord, Muslims make every attempt to understand the rich and poetic classical Arabic language. Since understanding Arabic is so important, most Muslims try to learn at least the basics. Many pursue further study to understand the full text of the Qur’an in its original.

Who is Allah? “There is nothing like into Him and He is the one that hears and sees (all things).”

In islam Allah is regarded as ‘Ever living’ and ‘Eternal’. He was ‘The first, ever before time was created, nothing was before Him.

After everything in the creation is destroyed, Allah will be there as ‘The last’ and He wll remain Ever Eistent and will never die, even after the end. 1. Page 15

Islam the Journey The Quran is no ordinary book of face or fiction. it is a living communication to humankind by our Creator, intended as a guidance for life, akin to an instruction manual or a traval guide. It helps us find our way but it does not do the travelling for us.

There were numerous revelations prior to the quran, and fragments of those scriptours are still available today like the psalms of David (the zabur of Dawud), the torah (tuwrah, the book given to musa/moses) or the orignal gospel of jesus (the injil of isa).

Islam: A Brief Guide There is only one origin to Whom, equally, all must return. Life thus becomes a journey, and its measure of happiness and success is the closeness or distance to our Creator.

Rather than a religion, Islam is a way of life with its guidance charting the coordinates of the map by which the return journey to where we came from can successfully be accomplished. 1. Page 59

This is imposed on the measses who accept the theory blindly.
