FNumber activity : 1 From plan to volume
Name: Controlled Nature
Reference
Original work: "Two dimensional self portrait".
Movement: Suprematism

Author: Kazimir Malevich
Materials used

acetate, cardboard, wood, glass paint, hair pins, dice, marble, lego doll, acrylic paint and paper.

Explanation
The work is intended to symbolise the nature that we find in the city, controlled and enclosed. So, inside the acetate cubes we find some dried flowers and in the black cardboard cube, a figurine holding a tablet. There is also a little hole in the black cube, which, if it lights up, looks like the tablet is lighting up the face of the monkey...
The irony of addiction to electronic gadgets is emphasised: with the real world outside, we insist on locking ourselves in black boxes with only one way of escape. Our mobile to a false reality.

Activity number : 1- Plan to the proposed volume II
Name: eyes that see us heart that does not feel
Materials used

Old crate, cardboard, pencil, acetate, plaster and ice bucket, tempera, oil, black and white acrylic paint.

Explanation
The play is based on the control exercised by the media over a society. Although it has multiple interpretations according to this theme (for example, one can be the cameras of supposed security in the street, a little following a line of thought of Foucault to watch and punish).
The interpretation I give to the play is the exposure of life on social networks, all the instagramers and people who expose their lives, in the end they end up doing it for the masses and there comes a point when they stop distinguishing reality from fiction, they stop feeling.
The city-like structure is inspired by NYC and my time there.

Name: Two-faced man
Reference
Giacometti

Title: l'homme qui chavire year: 1950
Materials used

Papier-mâché, modelling paste, glue, coloured tempera, acrylic paint (black and white), wood glue, wood base.

Explanation
With this sculpture, I wanted to symbolise the different faces that human beings can have. The face from the front, somewhat shocking with a false smile in black and white, symbolises the falseness of human beings, their capacity at times to mask the truth by throwing daggers in the back. the back face made in 3D with waves, comes to symbolise the good inner wildness of each one, the rich inner world that many have and don't show. But everything has a thousand interpretations

Name: Shared Revolution
Reference
Eusebio sempere mobile donated to the museum hanging plates stainless steel

Materials used

Alginate for moulds, plaster, wood, acrylic paint, coloured sticks, gauze, chopsticks, old baking tray (round dream catchers) and esparto grass.

Explanation
The work symbolises the current need to unite social movements. Shared revolution is because the black and red gauze wall symbolises anarchy and more violent movements.
The part made of esparto grass and colourful thread braided like a dream catcher reflects more "hippy" movements that in the world of hardcore social movements are often downgraded and discredited. This comes to symbolise that we must merge together to fight for the same thing, justice, freedom, respect, democracy..... that is reflected in the hand raised as a fist in the centre (made with an alginate and plaster mould and a hand from one of my brother's detachable toys).
