About Me

As someone who has strong passion and curiosity in both spacial and visual design, I

am looking for the balance between these two fields in my design. I am trying to cooperate my knowledge of graphic design and interior design together to convey brand and culture information, satisfy function needs, and express my design philosophy in three dimensional way. I used to apply symbolism to building concepts and details, hoping I can have more empathy with the people who has strong requirements on having space belonging. My aspiration is to apply all creative thoughts spatially and visually to create an engaging space for human experience.

The project was located in Turin, Italy. Italy is famous for its history. The project

was inspired by Baroque style architecture, romantic humanistic feeling and artistic atmosphere. The concept "Modern Baroque" was formed by the view of nature and the view of history. Through playing with the contrast between different materials, the balance was found between modern and historical style.

In the past, golf is known as noble sport. Although increasing number of people

are participating in playing golf, the majority of the users is mainly about middle-class men. This project is a renovation of the proshop in Golf Club of Georgia which is a North Carolina architecture style golf clubhouse. Instead of only satisfying the main users, the project aimed to break the stereotype, and attract more young people and families to join the sport by creating a playful retail space and relocating the brand culture.
