THE PRINCESS ALEXANDRA AUDITORIUM IS A STUNNING PERFORMANCE VENUE BASED ON THE BANKS OF THE RIVER TEES AT YARM SCHOOL. THE AUDITORIUM HAS BEEN DESIGNED AND BUILT TO THE HIGHEST PERFORMANCE SPECIFICATIONS. THE FACILITY WAS RECENTLY AWARDED TWO PRESTIGIOUS RIBA AWARDS FOR DESIGN EXCELLENCE. THE 800 SEAT AUDITORIUM, BASED IN THE HEART OF YARM, IS HOSTING AN EXCITING CALENDAR OF EVENTS THIS AUTUMN OPEN TO THE WHOLE COMMUNITY. THE PRINCESS ALEXANDRA AUDITORIUM IS WORKING IN PARTNERSHIP WITH STRICKLAND AND HOLT TO PROMOTE THESE EXCITING CULTURAL EVENTS TO THE LOCAL COMMUNITY. *Events raising funds for Yarm School music and photography departments.

An exciting and varied concert featuring the Heavy Cavalry and Cambrai Band from Catterick Garrison, our own music students and Yarm School Choral Society. An evening of musical entertainment not to be missed.

David Briggs, the world renowned organist, whose performances are well-known for their musicality, virtuosity, and his ability to both excite and engage audiences of all ages, will improvise an accompaniment to the silent movie, Dr Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.*

Joe Cornish talks about his work, experiences and ecological interests gathered from over 30 years of global exploration from behind a lens. Doors open at 6.00pm to view Joe’s exhibition. The lecture will begin at 7.00pm and there will be a chance to buy merchandise and refreshments at the end.*

YARM SCHOOL ASSOCIATION CHRISTMAS CRAFT FAIR SATURDAY 23RD NOVEMBER 2013 10.00AM - 4.00PM STALLHOLDERS WILL BE SELLING IDEAL CHRISTMAS GIFTS MADE BY LOCAL ARTISANS, FROM HANDMADE JEWELLERY TO BAKED GOODS. CHILDREN WILL BE ABLE TO VISIT FATHER CHRISTMAS AND THERE WILL BE CHILDREN’S ENTERTAINMENT THROUGHOUT THE DAY. WHEN YOU NEED A BREAK, THE CAFÉ WILL BE AVAILABLE FOR COFFEES, CAKES AND LUNCHES.
