HOW TO DRAW THE CROSSIANT?
3
MODULE 01
HOW TO A CROSSIANT? It is the begining of the FOD and the first module of this course. Comparing with the other modules, obviouslt it is the easiest. In this area study, the main point is to make a one to one scale look crossiant. Also, we are also focus on the ‘contrast between the shadow and light’, which use the tecnique of shading and hatching by pen and pencil to show the strong contrast.
At the first step,we need to buy a crossiant and scane the bottom of the crossiant. The reason to scane it is that to make a sample which is 100% one to one scale. Then we can use this photot to scale our drawing . After scaning the bottom of the crossiant, we need to cut them equally. We need a clear cutting section to clear see the structure of the section. What’s more, we also need to protect our crossiant safely because the

This is the drawing of the crossiant. I use the both technique, hatching and shading together. Although the combine of the two technique will spend more time than only use the hatching or the shading one. But they can show more details in the drawing, which emphasize the contrast between the light and the shadow.
ANXOMETRIC PROJETION
On this stage, we need to produce a anxometric for each crossiant sections. It is completely new to me that also spend more time to know about that thing. A grid was laid onto each section drawing and the points of intersection between the section line and the grid lines were marked. These marking are the guide of the anxometric drawing.

MODULE 02 NEW MARRIO WORLD In this module, we are going to draw a Marrio World by using the Ardobe Illustrator(mainly). I almost obey the original picture that given to us. And use the same background colors. Here are my two pictures of the Marrio Worlds.
These are the process of making the Marrio World. First, I use the same method as I learned in the last Module, the axnometric Projecion on the same paper. When I finished transite the both pics, I scaned and put it into AI and add more details before I put color on it.

This is the finale look of my work. However, honestly, I make a big mistake that I didn’t make the angle 45 degree. And the characters are not very coherent.
This is the new one I create. Because the time limited, I just correct the angle but have no time to add other details.

PAPER LANDSCAPE
In this area of study, We may focus on the skill of the model making and the tecnique of using rhino. On the right side is the whole look of my work . This model both challenging the skill of modeling planning and the model making. What’s more also let me know about the working rocesses of the

HERE ARE THE PROCESS DURING MY MODEL MAKING

In this module, we make the use the rhino to create a 3d modeling. All of use recived a piece of landscape from the tutor. And I create my first design(02). However, I think it is too simple and cant show the details of my landscape very well, so I quite and create a new one. I redesign the 3 little models to consist the whole work( 03).

INVISIBLE CITY
14
Argia, is the city i recieved. In this module, we have to create two scrence of the city based on the city we received. Because this city has limited de-
scriptions, so I have to imagine and some of details by myself. I present the element like ‘ the big tree’, ‘underground city’, ‘the lying people’ etc. I also create my own plot.
ARGIA, IS THE CITY OF THE DEAD. HOWEVER, IT ISN’T MEAN THERE IS NO LIVING THINGS IN THIS CITY. THE CITIZEN, WHO LIVES HERE, CALLED DEAD.
THESE PEOPLE LIVE UNDERGROUND. THEY ARE COMPLETELY DISCONNECT WITH THE GROUND. WITHOUT THE SUN AND OTHER THINGS PROTECT, THE CITIZEN ALWAYS HAVE A REALLY WHITE SKIN AND ALMOST NAKED.
THERE IS ALMOST NO AIR BUT DUST. THEY CAN’T WALK BECAUSE THERE ARE TOO MUCH MOISTIUSER IN THE AIR. ARGIA HOWEVER, ‘THE DEAD CITY’, ACTRUALLY IS A PRISON. THOSE CITIZENS ARE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ISOLATED BY THE UPPER WORLD. THEY CAN BE THE CRIMER ,CAN BE THE OLD , CAN BE THE ANYONE. NO ONE KNOWS WHY THEY HAVE LIVE IN ARGIA.
HOWEVER WITH THE INCREASE POPULATION IN THE ARGIA, THERE GOVERMENT HAVE TO ‘CLEAN SOME SPACE’ THAT IN SOME PARTICULAR TIME, THERE IS A MASSACRE.
THE PEOPLE WHO WHERE THE MASKS ARE THE MURDERS, THEY USE THE SPECIAL CHEMICALS AND TEH DEVELOPED WEAPON TO CLEAN THE CITY.
THE PERSON ON THE RIGHT HAND IS THE SURVIVAL. HOWEVER, ‘ITS’ FRIEND IS THROWEN INTO THE WELL. WE DON’T KNOW WHETHER HE IS HAPPY OR SAD. BUT WHAT HE IS DOING
IS JUST CALLED HIM. WE EVEN DON’T WHETHER HE WILL RESUCE HIS FRIEND OR THROW A STONE TO KILL HIM COMPLETELY.
BECAUSE THERE IS NO MORALITY, BUT THE SURVIVE.

Reflection In this semester, the key things I learn are that is the notation of the 3 demension of the flat planes throughout the four modules. I alsohave learnt to do the principles of different types of perspectives. the whole learning , I think, is focus on the transit between the 2 demension and the 3 demension. The axonometric projections in which vertical and the horizental line must be in the 45 degree in order to create an accurate projection of the 2d image. Especially in the Marrio World, which i redo them again. And in the ‘landscape’ one, I have learn many rhino tecnique that the basic knowledge of the 3d model making. I also meet the problems that the work is not good enough and i do prove them. My Marrio World has a fatal mistake that they are not in the 45 degree apparently which lead the whole model very wired. What i improve is to change the whole picture and in the accurate 45 degree. Besides, I also change the colors in my pictures which change the whole atomsphere more brighter.
