WEEK 9 READING: TITLE OF READING

Question 1: What are Durer’s rules for perspectival projection? (Maximum 100 words) Durer’s ruler can be included in two part. the first part, all perpendiculars or ‘orthogonals’ meet at the so-called central vanshing point, which is determined by the perprndicular drawn from the eye to the picture plan. Second, all parallels, in whatever direction they lie, have a common vanishing point. if they lie in a horizontal line through the central vanishing points lines always on the so-called horizon, that is , on the horizontal line through the central vanshing point is equal to the distance between the eye and the picture plane. Last but not least, equal dimensions diminish progressively as they ecede in space, so that any portion of the picture-assuming that the locatopn of teh eye is knowm - is calculable from the preceding or fllowing portion.

Question 2: Describe homogenous space? (Maximum 100 words)

Homogenous space is decriblesd as a more nath sens of area, whereby in a geomatrical plane it must be possible to draw similiar figures in all directions and of all magnitudes from every point in the given space. With in perspective drawings objects lose their similiarity and they instead become expressions of their relationship within the picture. In this, homogenous space becomes the space constructed between objects in perspective drawings.

INVISIBLE CITY:ARGIA

OLD QUAD ISOMETRIC

IN MY DESIGN WORK, I EXTEND MORE SPACE IN THE AIR. BECAUSE MY CITY IS ‘ARGIA’ WHICH IS UNDERGROUND. SO I CREAT THAT KIND OF SENSE.

OLD QUAD ISOMETRIC WITH NOTATIONS

QUAD PERSPECTIVE 1 + 2

Annotation. This is my first perspective old quarter view. The reason why i choose ot is that because in this view, it can show the different height of my old quart. Accroding to the contrast between the shadow and light which can also emphasize the effect.

6

This is my second perspective view. In this picture, i just want to show the whole sight of my works. That is the reason why i choose this picture that it is quit nomarl, Because this is normal, so i can express more detail in thhis view.

7

ARGIA ARGIA, IS THE CITY OF THE DEAD. HOWEVER, IT ISN’T MEAN THERE IS NO LIVING THINGS IN THIS CITY. THE CITIZEN, WHO LIVES HERE, CALLED DEAD.

THESE PEOPLE LIVE UNDERGROUND. THEY ARE COMPLETELY DISCONNECT WITH THE GROUND. WITHOUT THE SUN AND OTHER THINGS PROTECT, THE CITIZEN ALWAYS HAVE A REALLY WHITE SKIN AND ALMOST NAKED. THERE IS ALMOST NO AIR BUT DUST. THEY CAN’T WALK BECAUSE THERE ARE TOO MUCH MOISTIUSER IN THE AIR.

PERSPECTIVE SCENE 1 + 2

In this view, I call it ‘sadness’.I want to decreese a very heavy mood that i put some elements like the skull, the hand and a living man with a mask. Because a in my cities, there is only dust (without any air) so the whole picture will cook a little bit blur.

In this view, there are so many things . in fact, the theme of this screen is called ‘chaos’. There are many story happens together. And the coloumn oin the middle just sperate them. First, the left sidev

ARGIA

HOWEVER, ‘THE DEAD CITY’, ACTRUALLY IS A PRISON. THOSE CITIZENS ARE THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ISOLATED BY THE UPPER WORLD. THEY CAN BE THE CRIMER ,CAN BE THE OLD , CAN BE THE ANYONE. NO ONE KNOWS WHY THEY HAVE LIVE IN ARGIA. HOWEVER WITH THE INCREASE POPULATION IN THE ARGIA, THERE GOVERMENT HAVE TO ‘CLEAN SOME SPACE’ THAT IN SOME PARTICULAR TIME, THERE IS A MASSACRE. THE PEOPLE WHO WHERE THE MASKS ARE THE MURDERS, THEY USE THE SPECIAL CHEMICALS AND TEH DEVELOPED WEAPON TO CLEAN THE CITY. THE PERSON ON THE RIGHT HAND IS THE SURVIVAL. HOWEVER, ‘ITS’ FRIEND IS THROWEN INTO THE WELL. WE DON’T KNOW WHETHER HE IS HAPPY OR SAD. BUT WHAT HE IS DOING IS JUST CALLED HIM. WE EVEN DON’T WHETHER HE WILL RESUCE HIS FRIEND OR THROW A STONE TO KILL HIM COMPLETELY. BECAUSE THERE IS NO MORALITY, BUT THE SURVIVE.

WEEK 4 READING: TITLE OF READING Complete your reading before attempting these questions:

Question 1: IWhat is the difference between autographic and allographic practice? (Maximum 100 words) Autographic pratice is taht which is not reproducible, instead being a signiture that claims authenticity ‘upon direct contact with the author’ - a sense of individualism that is an inherent product of the artist’s work and representation. Examles of this can include sculptures, paintings ,amoungst other fine art presentations. On the other hand, allographic practice is that in which a piece of work could be reproduced without the author’s direct contact, such as music scores or building plans, and is often reliant uopon commonly used notations as a means of translation.

Question 2: Why do architects need new representational techniques? (Maximum 100 words) Architecture is constantly evolving and as a result so must the architect. Technologies increase ad with it new ways of representing the world arise, in order to confirm this architects must adapt. if architecture is to work beyond the level of image it needs to invent new tools to work more effectively within th eimmaterial networks and systems taht comprise the city in the late 20th, In order to sustain its own relevance, architecture need to adress the social and political implications of the shift from artefacts to effort.

FINAL DRAWINGS

IN THE FIRST PERSPECTIVE VIEW, I WANT COLLECT SOME VERY GOOD OF ELEMENTS HOWEVER THIS PART IS CUT, SO JUST PUT HERE.

ACTUALLY, THERE IS A PLOT IN MY SCREEN THAT THERE IS A MASSACRE. I COLLECT MANY KIND OF BLOODSTAIN TO CREAT A ‘REAL’ SCREEN.
