Our Mission The mission of YBM/YBW Leadership Alliance is to identify, educate and develop black high school students as leaders to have a positive community impact now and in the future. We accomplish this through: ++ Empowering black youth to be leaders in their families, schools and communities ++ Training successful black youth to mentor elementary, middle and high school students in their own communities ++ Training black youth and their parents to prepare for college and careers ++ Developing a sense of selfless giving through local, national and international service projects

Our Results ­– Ambassadors Program

engage in leadership activities on their college campus

hours of literacy mentoring

formed nonprofit & for profit businesses

collected 1,800 books & 12 soccer balls

established a computer center & library in Haiti

meals provided to the homeless

Current State ++ Non-Profit established in 2006 – all-volunteer organization until December 2016 ++ Strong ongoing strategic relationship with CMS ++ Currently have 345 students in the program – 240 high school & 65 college (2,000+ impact)
