Welcome to the June 2014 Edition of Your Child in Whittlesea I cannot believe we are almost half way through another year already... With all the excitement of the Cover Child Competition and our 1st birthday celebrations last month, it is nice to be back to “normal” again. Thank you to all our advertisers, competition sponsors, readers and our FB Likers for making our first year a memorable one. It is always important to commemorate milestones along the way, to reminisce and see where our journeys have taken us. It is also important to look to the future and put down our plans, goals and dreams. As a well-known saying goes, “If you aim at nothing, you will definitely hit it”. I am not sure who said that but I think there is a lot of truth in it. So....what is our goal at Your Child in Whittlesea? Our primary goal is to be... “the best local resource for families in our area, while supporting and promoting local businesses” We would love for you, our readers, to come on board with us in fulfilling this vision. We would like to encourage our readers to contribute stories, articles and information regarding community events and services. We welcome all feedback, positive or negative, and ask you to pass on the word about us to others who may find our magazine useful.
