Parents join their children as they learn about climate, animals, mammals and more through interactive activities. Once they complete their classroom presentations, students venture from classroom to classroom learning interesting facts from their peers. As the students make their rounds, they enjoy creating their own jungle, searching for pollution, and making sand art.

The Early Childhood Reading in Pajamas program instills a joy and love for literacy and reading. Students and parents participate in an evening of theme-and-book related activities, gather together on the carpet, and enjoy discussions on the different reading strategies to practice at home. Teachers then read a theme-related book to the children and the evening concludes with themed snacks. Each child receives a special picture book and character item to take home. The most important takeaway of the evening is that reading aloud to a child is one of the single most important things a parent can do.
