Design Project "Affordable Housing+ School in the 21st Century City" M-arch 7010 Studio instructor: MONA EL KHAFIF [group of 2] Spatial algorithm: Set 6 basic forms (these forms are based on urban textures extracted from historical maps ) and 6 Reverse topology of their 3D shapes. Take these 12 forms as the "original gene", Combine in pairs, 144 new forms can be obtained as the "Progeny gene pool"This will be the library of our architectural typology. Among these types, we have chosen one that is suitable for FAR>7 (this is one of our course requirements), and at the same time has nearly half of the block area of public ground space and high-density affordable housing. For affordable housing, we also extract from historical buildings: we retain the New York characteristic row house model to ensure that each unit can have its own front garden and backgarden. This is our high level of satisfaction for affordable housing—— an attempt at FAR and life experience.
Design Project "The American Cinematheque. Hollywood Boubevard" M-arch 7020 Studio instructor: LUIS PANCORBO [individual] Story in architecture V.S. Story in Movie This project is a cinemathequethemed comprehensive archive with an experimental screening room, so I started with the concept of "story board" and regarded each floor as a film frame in the movie, and then used a continuous, semi-open staircase to connect them so each floor has its own story while at the same time can call back to each other to cause memory resonance . The processing of each floor is constantly interspersed with indoor and outdoor spaces to ensure that each floor has an independent sense of experience. If you choose to experience the space layer by layer along the stairs, you can get a wonderful experience of viewing the space like reading a film. The pleasant temperature environment in Los Angeles makes it possible for the light structure of the project. Half of the main building is suspended and half is seated on the ground through a frame structure. The outer skin adopts a suspended translucent alabaster, which can provide soft colors and textures for the outdoor interior, and at the same time provide a light environment like a film filter for the interior.

Design Project "Urban Reconstruction Design of Villages in the City" Undergraduate work [group of 2] The project was built in the ancient city of Nantou, Shenzhen, a well-known state-owned city in China, so we conducted specific historical research on her in order to activate the ancient city without affecting the existing use, we chose to set up several representative points with different founctions around the ancient buildings with cultural value (without affecting the ancient buildings), which not only provides convenience for the citizens, but also promotes the old buildings.

The traditional functions of Tsukiji mainly focus on three aspects: buying fish, buying and selling resellers, and retailing goods. It can be said that it is the soul and backbone of the entire Tsukiji market. Considering that the entire Tsukiji market will be relocated, we will not only provide a place for existing functions, but also provide a stage for related stories around Tsukiji. Not only the fishermen who are rushing for fish, the middle plate merchants and the retailers, but also the surrounding residents who depend on the fish business for their livelihood, and the large number of tourists and investors who are attracted by the reputation and culture of Tsukiji. The festival culture of Tsukiji is also one of the spiritual sustenance of local residents. If they want to recast the land on the sea, they need to meet the fish commercial space, the living space of the surrounding residents, the sightseeing space for tourists, and the trade finance office space that coexists with the Tsukiji business. In addition to this, the necessary leisure space and the traditional space of the sacrificial culture are also essential.
A long time ago, when TokyoInternational was alsoimage, known there was a vibrant fish market in Nihonbashi. However, after the Great Kanto it was aEdo, International image, itas was a necessary sacrifice. necessary sacrifice. it decided to re-establish a new market in other places.
