Goonhavern Garden Centre is dog friendly and allows well behaved dogs on a lead. Please note dogs are not allowed in the Bay Tree Restaurant which is separately owned from the garden centre.
Plants
Over the past few years the Goonhavern site has grown to include a covered plant area. This has given us the opportunity to expand our plant offering whilst giving the customers the chance to shop in all weather and keep dry!
There is always a plant expert on hand at Goonhavern to give expert advice and answer any plant related questions. They can offer advice and help you choose the perfect plants for your garden. Especially being located in a coastal area, they are very used to the problems that this can create in our particular location in the country.
We are extremely lucky at Goonhavern to have some amazing tenants on the site with some fabulous businesses selling great products. From pets, fruit & veg to fireplaces, the site at Goonhavern creates a destination location for everyone who visits. The site is great for any one spending time down on holiday and locals alike.

Chacewater Garden Centre is a dog friendly shop, but please note dogs are not allowed inside the Café. There is a designated seating area outside the Café, within the gift department where dogs are allowed to sit with their owners, and will even get a treat!
‘Our plan is to create a destination garden centre for Truro’, whilst keeping the friendly and personal touch that everyone knew as Chacewater Garden Centre.
We have a large Café within the garden centre at Chacewater, and because it is owned by us, customers are able to use their loyalty cards in the Café to collect points.
We serve breakfast from 9am to 11am every day and lunches from 11.30am to 3pm. We are open for coffee and cakes all day.
