Hello and welcome to the latest edition of the Garden Centre Magazine for Rouken Glen Garden Centre.

Inside this edition you can find a plentiful amount of information on what you can find instore, as well as a handy section on monthly garden tips. With knowledgeable and friendly staff on hand in store to help with advice or inspiration, complemented by the huge variety of stock available, you will be sure to find what you need for your upcoming garden and/or home projects. This edition also includes many different informative editorials and alongside you will find local businesses whose services may just be what you are looking for.

We have also launched a digital copy of the magazine, available to view on your smart phone instantly. At Rouken Glen, we stock everything your home or garden requires, including garden furniture, plants for the garden or indoors, garden equipment, a wide variety of gardening tools, giftware and a selection of plant care equipment, all from our garden centres in Giffnock, Glasgow and Linlithgow. We must also not forget about our Pet and Aquatics Centres which carry extensive stock to fully cater for your pet’s needs.

Rouken Glen’s first Garden Centre was officially opened on the 3rd of April 1985 by Provost Judith Edmondson. It is situated in Rouken Glen Park and hence our name. The park is one of East Renfrewshire’s most picturesque areas and an ever popular destination for visitors. The award winning centre has never been keen to sit on its many laurels, with developments to the site giving additional services and improving comfort for customer browsing.

Rouken Glen Garden Centre welcomes you to come and see for yourself. Our staff are friendly and knowledgeable in their areas and will be more than happy to assist you in any way they can. Why not come and sample the culinary treats of the in house coffee shops, providing a great place to relax and sample the great food.

OUR GARDEN FURNITURE

We only pick the very best garden furniture to offer to our customers along with the very best customer service. We have garden furniture for all budgets. With new ranges of outdoor furniture added all the time from small 2 seater sofa sets to large corner sofa sets with dining areas.

We are open 7 days a week to cater for your whole family with a newly refurbished restaurant. We have a great specials menu everyday with lots of homemade meals available!

At Rouken Glen Garden Centre we pride ourselves on a huge range of gifts that includes everything from traditional gardeners gifts to candles and ornaments alongside greeting cards and gift wrap. There is a gift to suit every person and every occasion as well as a large range of homeware to browse to treat yourself too.

HOUSE PLANTS

Houseplants bring the garden indoors, filling your house with colour, greenery and scent, perfect for brightening your home or as a gift for someone. We stock a large range of different house plants and pots from leafy palms and tropical orchids to colourful flowering cacti. Whilst house plants make a wonderful addition to your house they also have a variety of benefits such as improving air quality and focus.

Our Pet Area is hugely popular and new lines are being added all of the time. We cater for dogs, cats and small animals with a range of bedding, leads, collars, shampoos, toys and treats with products to suit all tastes and budgets.

Watching the activities of wild birds in the garden can provide superb enjoyment and relaxation for all the family. Install an attractive bird table and stock it with an appetising selection of seeds and nuts it will attract birds from blue tits to blackbirds.

Bird houses, feeders and feeding stations can be installed in all areas of the garden to provide year round entertainment as well as a vital good source for wildlife.
