Indoor air quality problems are a major concern to both society and individuals today. The problems are caused by complex processes and rarely depend on one single factor. Therefore effective solutions can only be found through a multidisciplinary approach. One primary goal in the EU–project Kompetenscentrum Byggnad–Luftkvalitet–Hälsa 2 (KLUCK 2) was to establish a centre of competence (KOMIN), where education and information about indoor air quality problems and health–related issues could be coordinated. A large part of our project focused on research.
