KAYSERI TALAS MEVLANA NEIGHBORHOOD SQUARE DESIGN COMPETITION
Nexus: the whole, interdependent union of ideas, consisting of thoughts, knowledge, and teachings arranged in accordance with a principle, placed in an organized whole.
With the NEXUS approach, it is aimed to increase the current and future-oriented urban life quality of Kayseri Talas Mevlana District Square and to improve public use. As an ecological and cultural station in the neighborhood, NEXUS aims for continuity in the current and future. In line with the local development strategy of the region, it is designed as a rural-urban intersection where the natural and cultural assets of Talas are reproduced in innovative methods. In this intersection, urban dwellers are allowed to experience the countryside and nature not only through observation but also with pleasant and instructive tools, and by integrating with cycling and walking routes, the transitions between the city-semi-natural-natural environment are interrelated. general perspective view

NEXUS argues that in order to protect the ecological and cultural integrity of the natural environment, it is necessary to develop strategies that are integrated into the existing system and behave in harmony with reference to the natural and artificial structures of the built environment. Developing sensitivity to nature and thinking about it can be possible by discovering and understanding the formation processes that exist in the ecological environment.

ekoMOD
ANTAKYA KOPRUBASI SQUARE URBAN DESIGN COMPETITION
EkoMod: ecological method; the most repeated characteristic unit value in a series; life and module.
EKOmod is located in the center of Antakya’s unique cultural texture, at the focal point of the city life. The “threshold” created by the Asi River, which runs through the center of the city, for the Antakya Köprübaşı square and its immediate surroundings, with EKOmod, the river is defined as a part of the city life and a social space.EKOmod participates in the social life of the city by multiplying as streets, eco-modules, eaves and urban furnitures in the area. Thus, by evaluating the multi-dimensional and multi-layered potentials of the area, a sustainable, living and high quality of life urban open space is obtained.

The Dialogue of Civilizations Research Institute ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN VIII - GRADUATE PROJECT
Cidar /wall aims to improve public use and increase the current and future-oriented urban life quality of Kayseri Melikgazi Meeting Point and. Cidar provides at current and future continuity by defining the place as a cultural station. At the meeting point, different sized meeting areas that can be used for multi-purposes are created and participation in the city culture is ensured through activities. The wall becomes a part of a route that connects the bazaar, culture and history axes with the permeable surfaces consisting of different layers in front of the fortification wall. The wall defines a triangulation point for meeting by creating a new sphere of influence and consists of three separate layers.

hane
MALTEPE SOCIAL CENTER ARCHITECTURAL COMPETITION
The neighborhood is the small building block, core and household of the city where individuals lead their lives together, strengthen their social relations by producing and sharing, and develop the sense of belonging with the interaction they establish. “Hane Maltepe” includes programs that both feed and organize the network by connecting to the social network of the neighborhood. A Neighborhood Axis, supported by green pedestrian paths, is envisaged between the Archeo-park, which is close to the project area and one of the important points feeding the city, and the park. It forms an interaction network that can adapt to the changing and dynamic processes over time, together with the main axis. The Neighborhood Axis, which passes through the public square of the building, is here as an interface of encounter and interaction. general axonometric perspective

Collective Memory ARCHITECTURAL DESIGN VII
The Campus Living Center was planned to bring together different groups of students, to discuss, to solve problems, and to gain experience in working and spending time together. Collective Memory is a place where there are plantations and living areas, urban agriculture and the rapprochement and sharing that this practice encourages. For everyone who shares the campus, the earth creates a common ground, and this common ground is the pioneer of this collective relationship. For the continuity of this commitment, it should be included in a system that promotes the culture of production and sharing.
a view from the campus living center
site plan
There is a stream that is another part of the memory of campus, passing through the university campus boundaries. For the continuation of the ecosystem, the entire area designated as a green corridor should be afforested and maintained with activity areas. The green belt will be organized as a green activity corridor that allows people to meet the sea.

Ville-on-Chain
SHENSHAN SPECIAL COOPERATION ZONE COMPETITION
Shenshan is to explore the next generation of the cities, which return to the idea of the ville, its origin, through a chain of compact and discontinuous settlements inserted in an agricultural environment, to found a new hyper-connected way of life of the post-digital era. Ville, meaning “city” or “town”, is the French word of Latin origin, but the previous meaning in the Middle Ages was “farm” and then “village.” The word itself reflects the history of urbanization.inhabitants beyond the real estate value of cities.Project and for the future hyper-rural urban model. Ville-on-Chain is a proposal to go beyond the destruction of the nature of the traditional urbanization, or the nostalgia of the rural life, and to build a model of city, holistic, ecological, at human speed that is connected to the world physically and digitally. general aerial perspective

Passage / Bodily Self-Portrait ARTELLA DESIGNING DOOR COMPETITION
From past to today different interpretations of the concept of the door have been made, for example, the cave doors in the primitive periods, the city gates in the ancient Roman era, the triumphal arches, the crown gates that are common in Anatolia... Each door was unique in terms of location, geography, climate and society but this situation has changed with industrialization and standardization. Within the framework of the body-passage-space trilogy, transition should not be a momentary movement and should be considered as a process that has spread throughout the process. The stratification of the possible movements that a person creates from one place to another is the reflection of the self-portrait of the body to the action. The volume-expanding transition presents a passage that includes a wall that is detached from one direction and transformed into a versatile system. general perspective

Urban Courtyard
MERZIFON BUSINESS AND LIFE CENTER ARCHITECTURAL PROJECT COMPETITION
Continuous Urban Green: It is aimed to maintain the traces of Merzifon and to design spaces towards these traces. The green flows into the center and forms the landscape. Together with the green, it is environmentally friendly, allows sitting groups, urban amphitheatres, social and cultural facilities such as street art. Urban Courtyard: The courtyard design in the culture is taken as a reference. The pedestrian circulation coming from the city through the courtyard and the space within the life span reaches to different activity areas. The multi-purpose hall opens the courtyard in summer and invites the audience to participate in the activities.

De-Mounted: An Migrant Settler Living Unit UTOPIAS OF IZMIR STUDENT IDEAS PROJECT COMPETITION
Urban transformation began to destroy the cities rapidly. We see cities, neighborhoods, streets, experiences, memories that are trying to be demolished instead of transformation. These problems started to be seen in the regions of Izmir. DeMounted, which consists of movable modules, offers its own spatial solutions without being tied to the form, depending on the needs by being articulated and folded when opened. There are slits on the surfaces that can be opened and closed according to the position and function. It is able to adapt to the topography by being foldable. De-mounted does not resist the time, it leaves itself to a continuous renewal in the flow of time and nature!
