Chih-Yi Chung 鍾至怡

User Experience Design / Service Deaign / Visual Design

Graduate student of creative industries and design, major in industry& service innovation.Currently conducting research aims to explore the community-building process of co-living accommodation and furthermore develop an interaction framework which can be applied in the future. Worked as a design assistant in C-Hub NCKU for two years, which collectively implements the project through design thinking , builds the connections between universities, industries ,and governments.

An travelling app developed with social web design strategy applied. We applied multiple choice by circumstances , which enable user to choose what happen next in their journey, since there is a group of user always being hesitate to make desicion when travelling . This project we collborated with the department of electric engineering and history , in order to build real content as well as practical application.

C-Hub 成大創意基地 2018 年刊 / Editorial Design / Graphic Design

C-Vision this time showcases the main achievements in “technology,” in “culture,” and in “international collaboration” in recent years. Precisely, there are projects about the R&D of new materials, the application of digital manufacturing, the preservation of cultural heritages, the cultivation of cultural industries, the promotion of design education, and the attempt of transnational design. C-Hub is expected to bring the idea of "design empowered" and "innovative education" to the international arena and exert greater influence. The cover story talks about “circular economy” which focuses on innovative design in the era of circular economy. The international pavilion in the 2017 Taiwan Design Expo and several material innovations are both in the field of circular economy. 14

2018 台南獨立音樂祭典 / Visual Identity / Web Design / Project Mangement

A Tainan city-based Music Festival combined indie music with local culture of nightmarket . Creating unique experience that only in Sweet sound Festival by brand design.We put a lot " image of Tainan in 1980's " for recapping the memories of original nightmarket culture, which had been applied to the logotype and color scheme. Besides , as the first-year festival , we paid attention on using crowdfunding to reach the budget plan, which eventually worked sucessfully with the goal achieved in 24 hours. 16

The idea of OAM is the Open-Air Museum, a museum that's always on, it is there to make the invisible visible. We came up with the idea by asking ourselves, "In one of the most important historic area of Taiwan, why do we need to travel to the outskirts of Tainan, to a museum, to learn about its history?". So, we decided to bring the history back to where it actually is. It does this by creating an all-online museum experience using contextual communication technology available in your hand. Our mission is to to reveal the hidden history of Wu Tiao Gang with Augmented Reality, allowing users to experience history and Tainan while being physically immersed in the space. To make the experience contextual, by using beacons, we integrate the experience in the visitor’s smart phone. To be always open, to create a unique and customized experience for each user that can easily be shared with their friends online through social media.

A web app which make the invisible, visible. It'll be an always open and a selecting the right tool for your experience based on time and date.

I-PATH

成大 x 永豐金控 行動履歷 / Fintech / User Senrio Research

Students in university are mostly involved in cross-disciplinary learning recenty . I-PATH is a project conducted by Future Lab NCKU and Bank SinoPac., developing a service workable in NCKU to meet the demand of students to record their path in their 4-year journey in NCKU. The design team made user experience analysis for the needs of the campus situation in 2017, and also interviewed from the perspective of future campus user, in order to design forthe needs of faculties and students. This design case is now being developing by Prof.Huang Jingqun from the Department of Electric Engineering. The team has developed a blockchain decentralized technology application for formal application to implement the concept of talent cycle. In the design, the credit cycle is used as the base, for training of talents and furthermore build their own pathway to achieve multi-learning and help them seeking for career in the future. 26

Re-design of Room Reservation Service in HanYang University Implementing Lean Service Design / Lean Service Design / NCKU x HanYang Uni. x KAIST

In this redesign project , we used another Research & Design Method to cinduct Service design by Implementing Lean Principle. We tried to figure out the trade-offs between benefit oriented service and customer oriented service by evaluating comprehensive process including the perspective of service providers. Furthermore, by understanding causes for the lowest peaks, we are able to examine how 4M (man, machine, material, method) and environment can be changed to create the flow , then the experience can be improved from both demand side and supply side.
