LESSON 2: COMPARING SETS Every set may have difference or similarities into another set. We can compare these sets through the number of elements on it. We can use more than or fewer than to compare the number of elements in the set.
There are more boys than girls. The set of boys has more element than the set of girls. The set of girls has fewer elements than the set of boys. We can also use as many as if the sets have the same number of elements.
The two sets have the same number of elements. The set of rabbits is as many as the set of puppies.

Lesson 8 “One Less Than Counting and telling the number of objects in a given set Concept of less This is Luchie. She has two sets of clothes. She said that she has less skirts than blouses.
Is Luchie right? How do you know? Possible solutions are: 1. There are 3 skirts and 4 blouses. When counting, 3 comes before 4. This means that 3 is less than 4, so Luchie is right. 2. If we pair the skirts and the blouses, we will get the following: There is one blouse with no skirt as a pair. This means that there are less skirts than blouses. So Luchie is right.
