Today you will enjoy a tour of the Ring of Kerry, including a stop at the Killarney Lakes and National Park. Explore the shores of Dingle Bay, gaze at the coastal views of Kenmar Bay and unearth the magic of the MacGillycuddy Reeks.
From Killarney, head north to Galway by train. On arrival, make your way to your hotel for a two-night stay. After you’ve settled in, head to

An early arrival into Penzance gives you a full day to explore this historic port town. While there be sure to visit St. Michaels Mount, if the tide is out walk across the causeway, or take a boat over to the island. The medieval church and castle and surrounding tropical gardens really are a sight to behold.
Today you hop on the train for a short journey to St Ives. It’s a wonderfully scenic route that snakes around the golden bays before you reach the town. Once you arrive take a stroll over the white sand at Portminster Beach and admire the Godrevy Lighthouse before sampling some culture at the Tate, St Ives.
Today the thriving town of Falmouth awaits. Famous for its creative buzz there are a plethora of galleries and artistic venues to wander around and enjoy. The town also has a fascinating maritime heritage with several boat trips to be taken from the pier and the quay as well as four world class beaches to spend time relaxing on.
On this your final day in Falmouth you have a full day to explore the surrounding areas of natural beauty. Take a stroll along the Helford and Fal rivers or discover the coastal fortress that is Pendennis Castle with its unmissable views overlooking the city and harbour. After an early start, travel from Inverness to Ullapool and catch your ferry to the islands. This stunning sea trip takes you along Loch Broom, past the Summer Isles, and out to Stornoway; the capital of the Outer Hebrides. You travel to the North West of the island and visit the ‘blackhouse’ at Arnol. Dive into this traditional abode and discover how the Highland crofting families lived. Finish the day with a trip to the Butt of Lewis to admire the famous lighthouse.
Today, head south to Harris. The first thing you’ll notice are the mountains. And as you weave through the towering marvels, your guide will tell you about the traditions and tales of this part of Scotland. After you’ve had your fill of unspoiled beaches and landscapes, you stop in the small port of Leverburgh for lunch. Now it’s time for one of the great Hebridean highlights, Luskentyre beach. On a good day, the sea turns turquoise, and the sands look pristine white.
DAY 6 - THE OUTER HEBRIDES TO INVERNESS
Today, you’re delving back to the ancient past. You venture to the far west of Lewis to the parish of Uig, an area of outstanding natural beauty. We have a lunch in Stornoway before crossing back to the mainland returning to Inverness in the evening.

Your holiday begins with a scenic journey from London to Bristol via Totnes. Highlights of the journey include travelling alongside the Kennet and Avon canal before heading through the Wiltshire countryside to give glimpses of the famous Wiltshire white horses. As the train heads into Devon, it hugs the coast giving gorgeous views of the sea before climbing through the South Devon Hills. After a quick change in Totnes it’s off to Bristol in time for dinner.

Why not spend the morning sampling the culture by visiting the Bristol Museum and Art Gallery or climb to the top of Cabot Tower for some great views of the city and surrounding area.
