LET’S WALK FOR HUNGER TOGETHER The Walk for Hunger has always been about a promise to provide relief to those struggling with food insecurity. No one should go without a meal, yet Project Bread estimates that 1 in 6 households across the Commonwealth is facing hunger right now.
Sharing the Harvest Community Farm relies on financial support from the Walk for Hunger. With your donation, we can increase harvest production volume and bring more farmfresh food choices to those in need. The community’s 3-mile walk will kick off at 9am from Apponagansett Park, travel over the scenic Padanaram bridge, and pass through the village neighborhood. Following the walk, join Sharing the Harvest Farm Director, Ashley Brister, for refreshments and tours of the farm and greenhouse. REGISTER TO WALK WITH OUR TEAM ON MAY 1ST:
