BUILDING A BRIGHTER FUTURE 2016 ANNUAL IMPACT REPORT YMCA OF GREATER WILLIAMSON COUNTY
YMCA OF GWC Metro Board Chair - Doak Fling (left) President & CEO - Jeff Andresen (right)
LETTER TO OUR COMMUNITY Dear YMCA Friends & Family, In 2016, after a decade of planning and working in partnership with hundreds of dedicated volunteers, our Y’s positive impact to families and individuals in our community became stronger as we opened our first ever resident camp at YMCA Camp Twin Lakes and a new hockey center at YMCA Camp Round Rock. These new facilities are more than brick and mortar, they will enable us to strengthen community life and provide greater access and opportunity to everyone. It proved to be a workforce of spirit, commitment, and a dedication to our mission of giving everyone a safe place to learn, grow, and thrive. The YMCA of Greater Williamson County has proven to be a catalyst for positive change — all of which could not be possible without your contributions and support. We are a charitable organization dedicated to transforming lives and we are only able to make that happen with you by our side. We are truly humbled to have had the opportunity to serve close to one million individuals in 2016 through our branches, programs, and special events—with many of those receiving financial assistance. Thank you for helping us BUILD A BRIGHTER FUTURE for the families and individuals of the Greater Williamson County area.
Jeff Andresen President & CEO
Doak Fling Metro Board Chair

BUILDING WHAT MATTERS In 2005, our strong board, staff, and volunteers selected exceptional leaders during the planning phase of our new residence camp. The goal was to build what matters to help the local community. We made a difference by providing a place where FRIENDS AND FAMILY COME TOGETHER from all around the United States to reconnect and spend quality time together.
THE JOURNEY BEGINS YMCA of Greater Williamson County embarks on a partnership and capital fundraising effort to meet the expanded facility needs of the YMCA Camp Twin Lakes
