Become a

yoga instructor

Diploma in Teaching Yoga The popularity of yoga continues to grow. Both gyms and yoga centres are seeing an increased demand for yoga classes on their timetables. Whether it’s an increased awareness due to its popularity amongst celebrities or a gradual realisation that a holistic approach to fitness is one that reaps the greatest rewards, now is certainly the best time to become a yoga instructor. This Yoga Professionals course is based around the practice of Hatha Yoga – the foundation from where many popular styles of yoga have developed. On the course you will learn yoga asanas (positions), pranayama (breath control), mudra (hand positions), as well as meditation and yoga kriyas (cleansing techniques). The only requirement to undertake the Diploma in Teaching Yoga course is that you have a real passion and desire to learn about yoga. If you’re new to the industry and have a burning desire to becoming a yoga instructor, then great, sign up and get going; or if you’re already an instructor who wants to take classes or add these skills to your current sessions, then what are you waiting for? Course format blended learning: 9 days practical plus theory via eLearning

Meet your tutor Conrad Paul

I have been working in the fitness industry for 22 years teaching ETM, Pilates and then yoga. I fell in love with yoga from the minute I tried it. I discovered it suited my spiritual interests in addition to the physical benefits. I founded Yoga Professionals in 2007 and have since collaborated with YMCAfit to deliver the Diploma in Teaching Yoga. I am so passionate about yoga and it is immensely rewarding to know that my students will gain the skills to go out and teach classes and spread the light of yoga.
