概念 为什么 ∂ 我的名字叫莹盈,你好!你问为什么我用黄色?因为我本姓黄,我的背景 造就了现在的我。也因为黄色散发出和蔼可亲的感觉,我也希望我的书能 够有这种正面的能力。这次选择了C M Y K 里主要的黄色。 因为我的名字在西方国家很罕见,拼音里少了个i 字母,但是念起来是有i 音的。所以我运用了英文里的i n g ,把它变成y n g ,概念上代表了我间接影 响每个设计步骤。希望你也喜欢我呕心沥血的作品!

THOUGHTS ∂ Hello! My name is Yng Yng. You ask, Why the yellow? It's because my original last name was Wong, in it's Chinese writing it means yellow. Where I come from makes me who I am today. The color yellow are also friendly, I hope my book will have the same positive effect too. This particular yellow comes from one of the main color in CMYK, it represents my starting path as a designer. The unique titling in the book was a play on my name. My name was spelled uncommonly without the letter "i", however it still pronounce as it has the "i". By replacing the "ing" into "yng", the title are changed into a verb that involved me. I hope you like my work as much as I do, please enjoy.

Its medium to dark green leaves are twin-lobed, veiny and pointed, and beneath the leaves are droopy, bright red berries that look a little like the cherry atop the pile of whipped cream on a sundae. White-tailed deer are herbivores, leisurely grazing on most available plant foods. Their stomachs allow them to digest a varied diet, including leaves, twigs, fruits and nuts, grass, corn, alfalfa, and even lichens and other fungi. Occasionally venturing out in the daylight hours, white-tailed deer are primarily nocturnal or crepuscular, browsing mainly at dawn and dusk.
RACCOONS In the natural world, raccoons snare a lot of their meals in the water. These nocturnal foragers use lightning-quick paws to grab crayfish, frogs, and other aquatic creatures. On land, they pluck mice and insects from their hiding places and raid nests for tasty eggs.

Skunk spray causes no real damage to its victims, but it sure makes them uncomfortable. It can linger for many days and defy attempts to remove it. As a defensive technique, the spray is very effective. Predators typically give skunks a wide berth unless little other food is available.

Objectives ∂ Choose a fictional of existed design conference and design an array of promotional materials based on a concept that is non conventional. Design direction should be focused on experimental typography and layout treatments.
SOLUTIONS ∂ Code is often seen as just numbers or as geek languages to non programmers. For this conference, codes are introduced to designers as a new language, as a new way to generate animated imagery. The codes are dissected into sections, and it slowly builds up to a complex system throughout the book. Conference materials consists of a main book about coding, a conference schedule booklet, a poster and a short video.

Objectives ∂ Pick an existing company and create a line of skin care product under the brand. The challenge is to expand the company's style and culture into a different product. This project included designing and fabricating all the bottles and a 3D product display stand. SOLUTIONS ∂ TAG Heuer has a respectable history in the watch industry tracing back to 1860. The company produces outstanding performance watches to meet professional needs, like race car drivers and astronomers. The point of sale display stand mimics the face of a watch to pay homage to TAG Heuer's origins. Using only red and degrees of grey further emphasized the masculine nature of this product.

Objectives ∂ Design campaign promotional materials for a cause of your choice. This includes mainly digital mediums like a website, a mobile app and a mobile website plus extras.
SOLUTIONS ∂ The campaign Know Your Food is aimed towards parents with young picky eaters. The mobile App and card game provides a fun and casual way to teach children where their vegetables come from. Both the hand drawn illustrations and typeface are designed specially with younger audiences in mind. Bright colors are used to associate fresh food and ingredients. Designing a responsive website that works on desktops and mobile browsers was challenging yet fun.

Objectives ∂ From a provided list of musicians, pick one and redesign their vinyl album, along with a booklet and poster.
SOLUTIONS ∂ For the album Ring, the singer Glasser has a mesmerizing and dreamy voice. Every song seems to intertwine with each other and weave into a big ring; it almost has a tribal undertone to it. I designed lots of patterns to represent the different instruments and weave them into big circles. The posters consist of simpler arranged circles and also a break down version of the patterns.

设计方案 ∂ G m u n d 是来自德国的制纸公司,以生产质地绝佳的纸闻名。当中包括了不同
色调的灰纸,名为 S h a d e 。我从灰纸中得到了灵感,激发了设计关于太阳寿 命的概念。这本书使用罕见的斜角度网格和稀疏的文字排版。灰色色调充满 了整本书,显示当我们的世界结束时,太阳对于地球的重要性也将终结。

Objectives ∂ Pick a paper company and design a line of promotional materials for their line. Develop a topic to incorporate inspirations found from research. The approach should be structural yet experimental and suit the subject. SOLUTIONS ∂ A German paper company, Gmund produces a line of paper in different shades of grey called Shade. This inspired a concept about the Sun's lifespan progression. The book showcases uncommon angular grids and sparse types scattered along the book's edges. Grey tones are featured throughout the book to show the progression of our world's ending when the Sun dies.
