To help you get to know the players & committee throughout the season, this week we managed to catch up with one of the most dedicated trainers the club has ever seen. On his way back from a rib injury which he sustained with a clash with a 4 foot 10 opponent, one of the most gifted players to come from the valleys Mr Jamie Rewbury. Name / Age – Jamie Rewbury (35) Position – Centre Back Favourite Buns Memory – Welsh league promotion Most Intelligent at the Club – Few brains at the club, I’ll go Reesy Future Buns Hall of Famer – Kailum Least Intelligent –Steven Vaughan by a country mile Worse Memory in a Buns Shirt – Not many to be fair, but Dracs cup final Best Player you’ve played with – Leon Britton Worse Dress Sense – Gups wears some questionable shirts Longest in the Shower – Anstee Hard Man – Dre likes to put it about on the field but Carn dropped him up the banc so it depends how you look at it Carol Fry Best Trainer – Liam Eason The Joker – Got to go gups Worse Trainer – I’ll be close but I’ll go Carn loves a late shift on a Tuesday Best Tekkers – Liam Eason

Another Bun Becomes A Centurion
Last weekend we saw another land mark reached in our home fixture against Pontyclun. As our centre midfielder turned striker Liam Eason made his 100th appearance for the club hot on the heals of his brother Joe who recently made his 150th. Liam marked the occasion with his 11th league goal of the season and took his tally to an impressive 19 goals in all competitions. No doubt setting him well on his way to becoming a future buns hall of famer and possibly joining the small but illustrious list of players who have scored a 100+ goals for the club. Congratulations Liam and hears hoping we see you add to that impressive tally during this weeks home fixture. Carol Fry
Trip down Memory Lane GOALS, GOALS, GOALS AT THE GLASSBROOK
As we welcome today's visitors Penrhiwceiber Rangers we look back at our last two meetings both of which took place at our visitors home ground. Firstly in the abandoned 2019/20 season and the opening league fixture of the current campaign with both matches being played at a frantic pace at ending 4-2 a piece. The 2019/20 fixture saw Penrhiwceiber take the points in a end to end game that saw the buns come from behind and look to take a point if not all three only for the home side to rally and put the game to bed in what was a thrilling game for neutral. This seasons curtain raiser came after the buns had won their FAW trophy first round fixture and booked a place in the Welsh cup first round. As had our hosts who had enjoyed a strong pre-season beating both Llanelli town and Ammanford of the Cymru south. Carol Fry
Trip down Memory Lane GOALS, GOALS, GOALS AT THE GLASSBROOK
The match opened with ceiber looking to play a high pressing game with plenty of tempo forcing an early save from Pritchard before the buns got a hold of the game taking the lead through a thunderous Scott Jones strike and doubling their advantage through a Drew Caple free kick just before the half hour. The second half saw skipper Jones grab another and seemingly seal all three points for the buns but the hosts had other ideas a double substitution galvanised ceiber who pulled a goal back just before the hour mark. As a tense half continued to play out the hosts grew in confidence but an Alex Rees header from a corner in the 70th minute put he buns well and truly in control. Another ceiber goal shortly after gave them hope but with the clock ticking and chances running out the buns back line held their ground to secure all three points this time around. Carol Fry
After writing this I hope were in for another competitive match and that I haven't cursed us to a 0-0 bore draw and hears hoping for another buns win.
Club Photo’s of the Week As the clubs newly appointed match day cameraman Lee Scot made sure that he took time out before the game to pass his knowledge onto Miller who was keeping a close eye on the lads during warm up. Once the tutoring session over he was straight back to work, capturing some great photos of last weeks game against Pontyclun.
