To help you get to know the players & committee, this week we took time out with a key member of the clubs committee, whilst we’d loved to see him back on the field, his career has been hampered with injury and has overtaken the likes of Redknapp & Anderton on the treatment table. The one half of Ferndale's answer to the Kray twins Mr Josh Williams. Name / Age – Josh Williams (28) Role at the club – Committee Man / Away Day Enforcer / Returning Player Favourite Buns Memory – Promotion to the Welsh League Favourite Buns player of all time – Sean Jones he epitomises everything as to what the buns are about Stand out player so far this season – Liam Eason – one of the top players in the league so far Future Buns Hall of Famer – Kalium Worse Memory watching the buns – Cup final loss to the dracs Worse Dress Sense – Mason he’s wore a few from the Only Fools & Horses Set Hard Man – Anstee / Zacky love a head to head Team Workhorse – Too many lads putting proper shifts in and outside of a match day Carol Fry The Joker – Guppy thinks he’s funny but no one gets his banter or jokes Best Tekkers – Not a huge fan of it but could watch the Ferndale Fox & Jacob all day, effortless on the ball Score prediction for todays game against Pontyclun - 3-1 buns Dre with a scorpion kick

Todays Match Day Ball Sponsor The club would like to say a massive thank you to Ian Taylor (Tinker) who is kindly sponsoring today's match ball. It’s great to see ex-players and local businesses supporting the club, it really does make such a huge difference for us. Make sure you give him a call for any Garden Maintenance…you wont be disappointed, top bloke hopefully you get chance to head down to the Oval during the season.

Club News Another busy week behind the scenes with members of the committee securing a new sponsor. We’ve seen another local business join the buns family, this time its Gareth from Morrlec LTD, who has secured a space on the clubs new stand. Make sure you get in touch with Gareth who undertakes all type of Electrical services.

Carol Fry

From everyone at the club we are really do appreciate this, without the support of local sponsors the club would simply not be able to stay afloat.

Club Photo’s of the Week Last weekend we saw players Old & New stand alongside, lots of generations from the local community as the club took part in the annual Remembrance Sunday march, it was great to see so many people lining the streets to pay their respects. Also after some 121 coaching from Guppy our very own Lee Scott has finally mastered the lens and got a great action shot of Drew Caple doing what he does best during last weekends league fixture away to Treharris.
