We’ve said it for some time now but our fans are our 12th man, the support both home & away last season at times gave the players that extra push, however as the saying goes there is no place like home…we can’t wait to see you at the Oval!

The Next Generation
Young Buns
Youth
It's been a mixed bag for Richard Wilsons side an emphatic victory away to Llantwit Major was followed by a narrow home defeat to Penydarren BGC with showstopper Leo Grist shining between the sticks.
A first round FAW youth cup victory over Treowen Stars followed despite going down to ten the character and ability was shown to book a spot in the second round, back in league action a defeat away to Pontardawe is all part of the learning curve for such a young side.
Youth development
Carol FryRichard Griffiths side have been steadily building following a heavy defeat to start the season they have secured victories in the last two home fixtures beating Bali Glas and coming from behind to beat Graig FC either side of a narrow away defeat to league leaders Ynyscynon with strong performances from defender Tom Millard and midfielder Cody Moon.
Positives for the future with a number of players from both sides stepping up and gaining senior football experience with our reserve side and getting sessions under their belt with the first team.
Carol FryKeep an eye out for both sides fixtures on the Cymru football app and the clubs social media posts.
Back by popular demand
To help you get to know more about the players, management and committee throughout the season we’ll be asking them a few questions.
In the hot seat for the very first time this season is one of the most gifted players to ever put on a buns shirt currently on a short break from the game after he decided to save with feet not his hands.
Name / Age – Jamie Rewbury (36)
Position – Centre Back (currently on a sabbatical)
Favourite Buns Memory – Promotion last season to see how far the club has come and to be competing is truly unreal
Most Intelligent at the Club – I would say Reesy, Carter seems to have his head screwed on but that might be because he sounds posh
Least Intelligent at the Club – There’s a few but Dre & Stevie lead the way Worse Memory in a Buns Shirt Losing to the dracs in the final, bad day that
Hard Man Anstee is rare as they come, quiet crazy guy
Best Trainer – Reesy & Joey I’ll go for
The Joker – Guppy always up to no good
Worse Trainer – Think Cory & Drew have lost their running trainers
Carol Fry
Best Tekkers – Jacob good one to watch
Quickest in the Team – Cory can fly
Who goes noticed behind the scenes – Every committee member unreal what happens behind the scenes at this club
Expectations for this Season – To stay in the with zero budget would top everything
Club News Season Tickets
As a club we are mindful of the rising costs of every day life so following feedback pre-season from supporters we decided to trial for the very first time a club season ticket for all league and cup home fixtures
We have been overwhelmed by the response from supporters contacting us to secure their season tickets ahead of what will be an historic day in the clubs short but successful history.
Carol FryIf you are interested please speak to a member of the committee or contact us via one of our social media pages they are still on offer for just £50.
Last season we ran a joint venture with Sport Wales which was so generously backed by you via our Crowdfunding campaign.
I think you will agree when you visit the ground that the work that has been undertaken will help push the club forward and enhance the facilities for everyone on a match day.
