A well known club who've competed at the highest level of the Welsh pyramid today's visitors have earned a place in UEFA competitions on four separate occasions, one of the highlights of their European adventure's came in the 2005/06 season.
A trip west to Ireland to face Longford Town in the first qualifying round, a 2-0 victory for Longford on Irish soil was overwhelmed in Carmarthenshire a night that will go down in Richmond park history.
Carol Fry Carol FryA emphatic 5-1 win for the old gold saw a penalty awarded and converted by both sides and a brace from former Welsh youth international Danny Thomas booked a second round tie with Danish side FC Copenhagen.
Eventually going out 4-0 on aggregate after a 2-0 defeat in the Danish capital followed by a 2-0 defeat with Danish international Peter Moller getting a brace in the home leg played at Ninian Park with one of own Craig Hughes playing for the old gold that night. Craig’s allegiances will firmly be with the home side for todays encounter despite media reports suggesting otherwise.

Darryl has not only been a loyal sponsor for many a year but is also a regular supporter on match days whether that’s a short walk from his home over to the Oval or he brings along the army of young buns with him on away days.
It’s great to have him on board once again this season and make sure you get in touch with him for all your nights out, you drink he’ll drive.

Trip down Memory Lane
4 Years Ago - South Wales Alliance Premier
Ynyshir Albions 1-0 Cardiff Draconians
Very tight and tense affair with a 2nd half Liam Eason thunder bolter the difference between two title challengers on Ynyshir Oval. A win that would turn out massive on route to the South Wales Alliance Premier League title.
6 Years Ago. - W. John Owen Cup - Round 1
Cadoxton Barry 4-6 Ynyshir Albions (AET)
An incredible cup tie which would kick start Ynyshir's slow start to the season. Coming from behind several times to take the tie into extra time before finishing off the home side off. Cei Mason, Huw McGregor, Leon Anstee (4) the goal scorers. The game would also mark the return of club captain Sean Jones after over a year out with ACL surgery.
8 Years Ago - South Wales Senior League Division 2
Ynyshir Albions 5-5 Cadoxton Barry
Carol Fry
An unbelievable game filled full of drama would see Ynyshir come from behind twice, lead 5-3 and surrender a two goal lead late to the eventual league champions Cadoxton Barry. Adam Fisher, Damian Kwiatkowski and a Leon Anstee hattrick the goal scorers.

Buns Baby Boom Continues
Just hours after scoring a double and putting in a man of the match display against Trefelin BGC just over a week ago we were all delighted to hear that Carter & Katie welcomed their baby boy into the world.
Great to hear both Mum & Arlo are doing well and we look forward to seeing him at the Oval soon cheering Dad and the rest of the lads on.
Club News Season Tickets
As a club we are mindful of the rising costs of every day life so following feedback pre-season from supporters we decided to trial for the very first time a club season ticket for all league and cup home fixtures
We have been overwhelmed by the response from supporters contacting us to secure their season tickets ahead of what will be an historic day in the clubs short but successful history.
Carol FryIf you are interested please speak to a member of the committee or contact us via one of our social media pages they are still on offer for just £50.

None other than the World Heavyweight Champion stopping off in the village to open up Kelly Lyon’s Bruncheria
A few snaps taken by our very own Lee Scott against Trefelin had a drone taking some overhead stills from our last home outing
Last season we ran a joint venture with Sport Wales which was so generously backed by you via our Crowdfunding campaign.
I think you will agree when you visit the ground that the work that has been undertaken will help push the club forward and enhance the facilities for everyone on a match day.
