Stress: One of the number one causes for Hypo or Hyperthyroidism is stress. Try meditation or quiet music and take one hour a day to just relax even if it is your hour at night to bathe. Somehow you have to de-stress. There are several things that cause your thyroid numbers to change but you need to try to level them out. Just having beautiful things around you can relax you. Aromatherapy helps you to relax. Certain essential oils can also lower blood pressure and effect of course your mood. Foods: Eat only grass fed meats if you eat meats. Also Coconut oil is best to use for cooking as well as the body. Try to cook without using metals as well as reduce or remove the caffeine you drink. I actually had Hyperthyroid and I don’t drink as much coffee as I used to. I am down to maybe one cup a week. I also began fresh kale salads and I still must remove sugar from my diet. That is hard but an essential thing if you have a thyroid issue. I no longer have the disease. I add prayer oils to my essential oil blends. Remember your Thyroid controls everything. Essential Oils: There are several essential oils that will aid in Hypothyroidism. Frankincense & Myrrh from the Biblical days heal almost everything. Lemongrass is enlightening and Geranium has relaxing properties as it is a sedative. Here are some symptoms: Depression Fatigue or tiredness Cold feet and hands Puffy eyes or Popped out eyes “Graves” Memory loss and difficulty focusing Dry, or pale skin Hair loss Brittle nails Constipation Trouble sleeping Unexplained weight gain (Hypothyroidism) Unexplained weight loss (Hyperthyroidism)
