DESIGN SOLUTION The design, successfully addressed end-users’ requirements and stimulated the human senses to create a pleasing, enjoyable and simplified experience when parking the automobile. The functional way finding and userfriendly accessories added to the heightened human senses so that parking experience was drastically superior to the existing standard design practices for parking lots. The concept, ‘Happy Vibe’ was named to embody the ‘good vibrations’ experienced when stimulating the human senses through strong visual elements, such as vibrant color schemes and pictograms that are carefully selected to change a negative perception into a positive parking experience. Through creative way finding design and simplified plans that regulate the arrow’s size, color, and location intuitively help users to better perceive where they are and to know where they are to go.
