從小到大被賦予被教育者的身份,多 年下來也漸漸有了心得、開始關注教
育議題。2013 年有機會參與兩個教育 機構的活動 - 番茄苗及狼寶寶,也開啟 了我朝向兒童教育類建築的路。 EDUCATION I had been a student most of my life, and I had paid a lot of attention on the education issues. In 2013, I got an opportunity to cooperate with two education organizations. Tomato Farmer and Wolf Baby(Pre-Cub), both of them inspired me to focus on architecture design in childhood education.

身體感受、體驗為主的學習。服務員是 志工性質的職位,負責設計每次的活動、 遊戲及教學內容,並引導孩子進行團集 會,我至今仍持續參與狼寶寶的活動。 TOMATO FARMER Tomato Farmer Art Center is an institute of art system for children in China. Which found by Taiwanese couple in Shanghai. I was work here as a teaching assistant and graphic designer form July to August in 2013. My job was teaching free hand drawing and ceramic art craft during that time. WOLF BABY(PRE-CUB) I volunteer as Pre-Cub Scout in Scout of Chateau Villa in January 2013. Which
is a community scouting organization encompasses, service for the member from age 5 to 26. The part I work for is called Baby Wolf(Pre-Cub), it is a nickname of children service. It is a beginner level in Scout, it is service for 5-8 years old children. WOLF BABY provide many different kinds of activities for children which is helping children play their role in a team based on activities. My job is planning each event, activity and write teaching outline. I still participate in the Scout service today.

育,與孩子的互動過程中觀察、學習到很多,也
開始接觸到家長、看到許多親子間的互動。漸漸 發現兒童的行為多源於模仿父母,或是受到家庭
結構的影響。同時也了解到,各種社會問題其實 都起源於人們兒時的家庭教育與成長環境。
TEACHING BY EXAMPLE The reason makes me start focus on children education is work with Tomato Farmer and Wolf Baby, I learned a lot of ideas about early education. I realized the best example is parents, children imitating and influence form them very well. As I know, most social problem creator had some issues in his/her early education and environment.
都市尺度的教育
2013 年 9 月 -2014 年 1 月, 台 北 市 市 區 內 松山機場廢除後的重新規劃,主要做了兩項 改變:
打破迷信 - 忌水這件事深植在每個台灣人心
中,河邊海邊很危險不能靠近。與其將恐懼
植入人心,不如教育正確的防範與處理方法, 並將人們與水放在一起,成為人們生活中的 一部分。
整治水患 - 政府用一道牆防止河水泛濫,也 隔開了人與水,但牆內依然會淹水。打開牆 讓水進入、讓植物與土壤吸收,這裡的街道 傢俱與建築都是防水可被水淹的,人是可以 與水共生的。
規劃教育設施、將水與人們拉近,也改善水 質及水患,最重要的是將人們的觀念改變。 這個設計想法在老師的支持下完成了,也成 為了支持我往後設計的根基。
BEFORE
EDUCATION IN URBAN SCALE Sep. 2013- Jan. 2014, the Replanning Project of the closed Taipei Songshan Airport. It makes two different ideas for Songshan airport. First of all, called “Superstition Breaking”. Because most of Taiwanese avoided from water (river and beach) by superstition. I believe that should be educated rather than frightened. As an islander, water is part of my life, and it should be. Secondary, called “Flood Remediation”. Our government built a wall to defense flooding, but making people separated away from the river even flooding still
happen. I break the wall and allow water to fill in the earth, and plants getting rich. Definitely, the street furniture and buildings here are waterproof. I believe that water and human could cohabitant. Planning the educational facilities to create a better relationship between water and people closer. Also improve the water quality and flooding problem, the most important is- It could change people's thinking. This concept are finished and conducted by Ulf Mayer, this project also become the foundation to support my design project in the future.

我們的學校建築
教育風氣漸漸地改變,過去的學校建築已無 法支援這個世代對學習及教室的定義。
2014 年 2-6 月,台北市立平等國小重建規劃
案,指導教授為平原英樹。以這間學校位於
陽明山上台地的地理特色、容易起霧的環境、 大家族般的鄰里風氣、田園學校走向的教育 理念,去設計規劃出最合適的教育環境。
SCHOOL ARCHITECTURE The education trends are changing with time, general school architecture design and facilities could not support the new type of learning method. Feb.-Jun. 2014, Ping-Deng Elementary School Replanning Project. Conducted by Hideki Hirahara. The site located in a tableland of Mt.Yangmingshan and always covered by fog. The school has a very closed relationship with neighborhood. It create a unique education system which developed a strong relationship with local environment.

I wondering how much influence we can make though the architecture design in this society, and I start to find a way that can connect the architecture for children based on the living environment we familiar with- vernacular spaces. Also, designing an environment to provide children's learning for the living skill, and located at the neighbors of children's lives and they don't even have to go school. I tried to define education based on architecture design method in this year, or maybe I just trying to define the education architecture though the education I imagine.

從孩子身上學習
從 2013 年開始接觸狼寶寶後,至今 仍持續參與。藉由設計活動來認了解 兒童的行為模式,也藉由設計活動來 嘗試各種方式的教育,尋找怎樣的方 法最適合讓孩子學習。
LEARNING FROM KIDS I was participated in Wolf Baby as an activity leader since 2013. Learning from the children behavior though the activity design, and trying different teaching ways to find the best way for the children's learning.

未來
對幼稚園、國民小學等兒童教育機構有興 趣,想朝這個領域發展,但目前台灣沒
有專門做這塊的事務所,希望能在與此相 關的專業領域中學習。雖然不知道終點在 哪,但越靠近就越能知道答案。 FUTURE I am interested in the kindergarten, elementary school and other education system and facilities for young children. If possible I would like to working in this field, but there are not that much filed focused on it in Taiwan. In the future, I believe can make an effort into this professional field. The more I walk forward, the closer destination I will rich, even I don't know where there are.
