Dimensions

120 Db [ screaming ]

90 Db [ yelling ]

60 Db [ normal conversation ]

The lower you bend while releasing the air and sound from you lungs, the louder the sound will be.

During inhalation, your lung and chest expands. The Diaphragm flexes downward.

People first stand up straight and gasp for air to build up the power they want to release.

While releasing air your diaphragm relaxes pushing out the air contained in your lungs.

Human Sounds Environment Sounds

Description:

I did a little research on Lumpini Park and noticed that most of the population at Lumpini are runners. These runners are mainly people who lives around the city center. Working in the middle of Bangkok, it is very difficukt for them to go anywhere to ease their minds. People often go to Limpini Park to exercise as a way to relief stress and pressure from all their office work or school work, and therefore I have chosen the act of screaming as a way to relief stress. This tunnel has it’s entrance on the peaceful isolated part of Lumpini and it’s exit towards the busy chaotic city outside of the gate. The design has been made to protect everything you’re saying from exiting anywhere but the exit of the tunnel. Your sound will be enhanced out very loudly, however, the soundwaves that travels in only one direction will be absorbed by the sounds of the busy outside world.
