- Meeting with clients to understand their need and translating their desires into a design, and providing various options

- Assisting project lead in delivering milestones Preparing presentation drawings throughout numerous design iterations

- Preparation of building permit drawings and thoroughly documenting the existing space

- Managing digital models (SketchUp), keeping them clean and current throughout iterations. Ensuring consultants have the most up to date model

- Meeting and collaborating with different departments(Interior designer,strucural engineering,landscape designer)

- Researching materials and and contacting various material manufactures

SUZHOU PUBLIC COMMUNITY CENTER

The site is located in a new district in Suzhou, where there is a lack of a community center that can gather people. The client does not want the community center to be too flashy or prominent; instead, they want it to serve as a spiritual fortress that guides people back home. Therefore, the location was chosen at the heart of the entire community, and by utilizing the transparency of the U-shaped glass, during the daytime, it remains hidden within the community like an urban living room. However, at night, it emits a warm light that attracts people to return home

Materials ：

The top of the books bar is adorned with a U-shaped glass structure that reaches a height of 6.9 meters, giving the originally dull box-like structure a more transparent and iconic appearance. The use of gray bricks, a traditional local building material in Suzhou, is combined with various sizes and gradual arrangement, incorporating modern desigh method while preserving the local characteristics.

Facade Control Manual

We will collaborate with the curtain wall firm to further optimize the design based on the Facade Control Manual. The crucial part in the drawings include the dimensions of glass panel divisions and the size of aluminum panel. Additionally,the curtain wall firm will provide the client with a final cost estimation for the curtain wall

This is an interior renovation of a staff apartment project. The company needed a cost effective staff apartment within 5 minutes walk from the company in order to attract more quality talents, and the challenge of this project was to create more space possibilities in a very small space and to meet the living habits of Gen Z era employees

The bold application of dark blue in the originally narrow and unlit corridor, through the combination of spotlights and photo walls, we hope that residents can feel relaxed and peaceful after coming home through this long corridor; red as the color of the bathroom will give people a "sense of restlessness", so that people can use it after Leave as soon as possible

This project is at a stage where the floor plan has been mostly finalized, but the previous facade designs were not approved by the client. So I joined the project midway and continued with the follow-up facade design. The project went through two versions, and in the end, the design was further developed based on this version

The client's requirement for this project is to have a clean and resort-like facade. As a result, you will notice the use of numerous decorative grilles and large areas of perforations in the facade. The color palette of the materials is also chosen in the white color range to create a relaxed and airy atmosphere for the building

SUZHOU SUNAC SHOWROOM DESIGN

The client wanted to create a landmark building for a showroom. After several iterations,concept B was finalized. However, due to sudden changes in the development conditions by the planning department, the area was nearly halved. As a result, a curved design was proposed as an alternative. Unfortunately, the project was ultimately not constructed due to cost overruns exceeding the budget

CAREER VISON

I have nearly 6 years of experience in the field of architectural design. In my previous roles, I primarily focused on facade modeling projects, particularly in the later stages. In the future, I aim to further specialize and excel in the industry, with a particular focus on architectural plans and construction details.

I aspire to engage in further research and learning, applying my knowledge to practical projects. This passion is what continues to excite me and drive my dedication to architectural endeavors. Ultimately, I hope to diligently work towards establishing my own architectural studio, as this is a strong desire of mine.
