This is

1

ED...

and this is

Ed is sort of

SENSIBLE

Bunny.

and Bunny’s kind of

FUNNY... 2

And this is what happened when they helped to

RAISE SOME MONEY.

3

Everything started last Monday at school, when Mrs Fox said...

CLIMATE CHANGE IS NOT COOL!

4

PLANET EARTH

is warming up because of what we do, but everyone can turn the tide including me and you!

5

Simple things like

RECYCLING and

TURNING OFF THE LIGHTS, and also

NOT WASTING WATER can

help to make things right.

6

That’s why... Mrs Fox continued, We’re raising funds at our summer fair to buy solar panels and a wind turbine, so the school can run on fresh air!

As well as being good for the world, it will be good for our finances too,

FREE

for we can create energy which leaves more money to spend on you! Our event must be eco-friendly and help to educate everyone about caring for the environment but it’s also got to be

FUN!

7

BIG

We need to come up with something and make as much money as we can.

Don’t worry my friend, said Bunny, We’ll think up an awesome plan!

8

The pals put their thinking caps on, and set to work on a moneymaking scheme. But they didn’t like each other’s suggestions...

9

Maybe we shouldn’t work as a team?

10

Ed thought they should go with his idea, but Bunny disagreed with him.

11

I reckon I can raise more cash than you. May the best small mammal win!

12

Before long it was Saturday afternoon and the weather was sunny and fine.

13

The summer fair was in full swing, everyone was having a good time...

14

Bunny was having trouble selling his

CARROT JUICE.

It wasn’t very popular and not very easy to produce!

...well, everyone except Ed & Bunny, who really weren’t having a ball. It turns out that their good ideas were not that good at all!

15

And Ed wasn’t faring much better. Nobody came to his stall.

WALNUTS

are not very easy to hit. They really are far too small!

16

We’ve been rather silly,

said Ed.

We’re not very good on our own.

We’re much better when we work together, we might as well head home.

As they began to pack up their stuff, Ed suddenly started to smile.

I’ve thought of a way to save the day. Bring your carrots, we’ll be back in a while!

17

They raced home in record time, and with a hand from Bunny’s mother, they soon realized everything’s easier as soon as you help one another...

By half past three they were back at the fair and there was lots of money to make, and they now had plenty of customers, because everyone loves...

18

19

It wasn’t long before the school had finally raised enough money to do their bit for the environment with a little help from

ED

and

HOORAY!

Bunny!

20

AEROPLANES

The world is warming up because of us...

POWER STATIONS CARS & LORRIES ARE ALL PART OF THE PR OBLEM But there are many things that we can do...

WIND SOLAR TURBINES PANELS ELECTRIC VEHICLES And all these things save

HYDRO POWER

MONEY as well as the

PLANET!
