UNDER THE STARS Under the stars: Astrophysics for bedtime, transports curious kids and inquisitive adults on an incredible journey through the night sky. Kids will be able to explore the solar system from the comfort of their bedrooms, find out why the sky is blue, fly around a black hole and learn why Jupiter has stripes. It’s a book that will bring the night sky to life, giving amazing new perspectives to young explorers who are always asking - why? Lisa Harvey-Smith, author, and astrophysicist, is hoping her first children’s book will nurture young minds, providing a wonderful introduction into science and technology for kids - and their parents. “The cosmos is a fascinating new world for many, and I am excited to have translated my knowledge of this amazing subject for kids”, says Lisa.

KOOLANGARRA PARK

There were no bunyips hiding in the bushes at Koolangarra Park in Bunyip when we visited this month. There was however, a lot of fun to be had!
Mr 5 and Miss 3 did not want to leave!! It’s a fantastic little park, with BBQ’s and seating area, shade, and a great playground. There is also a BMX jump track for the older kids, great visibility and that wonderful country town vibe! Next time you are driving past, grab a picnic at the supermarket, or from one of the local eateries, and enjoy this hidden gem! Only 15 minutes from Pakenham, just a few minutes drive south of the freeway, Bunyip is worth a look! 8

Super Easy Recipe
White Chocolate & Hazelnut Panna Cotta Ingredients - 1/2 cup thickened cream - 1/2 cup Milk - 1 1/2 tablespoons caster sugar - 50g white chocolate, finely chopped - 1 teaspoon powered gelatine - 1/3 cup chocolate hazelnut spread
Method 1) Place cream, milk and sugar in a small saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring, for 4 to 5 minutes or until almost simmering (don’t boil). Remove from heat. Add half of the chocolate. Stir until chocolate is smooth. Pour mixture into a heat proof bowl. Sprinkle over gelatine. Whisk to dissolve gelatine. Cool for 10 minutes. 2) Spoon 1 tablespoon hazelnut spread into the base of 4 100ml capacity espresso glasses. Smooth top. Carefully pour cream mixture, over the back of a metal teaspoon, into each glass. Cover with plastic wrap. Refrigerate for 4 hours or until set. Remove from fridge 10 minutes before servicing. Decorate with the remaining chocolate. Serve
