Welcome to May 2015, we hope you enjoyed the Easter Break and the school holidays with your children. The holiday period seemed like it went so fast and here we are already in Term 2 of the school year.. Now that we are all getting into the swing of term 2, it is a great time to enrol your children into swimming classes at Westerfolds Sports Centre a fun and great way for your children to keep safe in water. Even though we are in the last month of Autumn we are still getting some nice warm weather so you can still go outdoors and enjoy the weather before winter sneaks up on us. In Manningham we are so lucky we have so many parks to choose from. You can go online to the Manningham City Council website and search for a playground at http://www.manningham.vic.gov.au/play/playgrounds.html and see which park or outdoor area is closest to you. Doncaster Park Kindergarten is celebrating their 50th Anniversary. How amazing is that! So come and Join in the Family Fun on the Saturday 16th May 2015 11am to 2pm. There will a sausage sizzle, face painting, magician, and animals of oz also their open day and much more. Many mothers and grandmothers really look forward to this day, as a mother I know I do, it's a day you can feel special and be appreciated by your children and grandchildren. I love Mothers Day it's one of my favourite days in the year because I get to pick what we do for the whole day and its great fun.
