Manningham Hello and Welcome to our May 2016 Issue, we wish you all have a great month and I hope you enjoy reading our latest issue. May is one of those months where we are thinking of so many important choices that we will be following up in the coming months. I am already thinking of what I would like to do for Mother's Day because I get to choose what we do for the whole day and its great fun. Here are a few places where you can enjoy breakfast, lunch or dinner with your family. Warrandyte CafĂŠ, Cherry Hill Tavern, Degani, Pappa Rich Express, Templestowe Hotel and several great Restaurants at Tunstall Square, bookings are essential at all venues so book early to avoid disappointment. Happy Mothers Day to all the Mothers, Grandmothers, Step Mothers... wishing you all an amazing day. Some of the things that need deciding around the month of May are which school to send your children to in 2017. Most Catholic schools have had there Open Days in March so if you did not have time to pop into St Peter and Pauls Primary School and see there amazing school give them a call to book an appointment. This month is education week and most Primary schools are having there Open Day so it is important to go and see all the facilities the schools have to offer. Some unbelievable local schools are Templestowe Valley Primary, Templestowe Heights, Biralee Primary, Milgate Primary and all schools have open plan learning spaces, fabulous outdoor spaces and programs on offer. If you miss out on any open days you can call all schools and organise a time to take a tour they will all give you a warm welcome. So many decisions to make this month for next year and another is which kinder/childcare are you going to enrol your child into in 2017. Some local kinder/childcares to consider are Cuddly Bear, Templestowe Heights Preschool, Mykidz Learning Centre, Twin Hills Preschool and Doncaster East Day Care. It is important to plan and enrol kinder/childcare from now so you do not miss out on a place for 2017. May is also a great month to enrol your child into tutoring as tutors can help with preschool as well as primary and high school level. We are so lucky in Manningahm to have so many outstanding tutors that will help our children with there studies, preparing for NAPLAN and future education.
