Hi, In the blink of an eye, autumn clothes are carried to the front again in the wardrobe. One day in Melbourne really brings you the experience of four seasons. I notice some flu is coming around. So please take great care of yourself. I went to a shop to get my daughter a 1/10 violin. It is a small shop but it was crowded with parents and children. People are buying, renting or replacing their musical instruments, including violin, viola and cello. I was completely overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of music from our council residents. I know most of these children will not take up music as a career. But they are not wasting their childhood either. Music is such a wonderful beauty. I am glad that Monash residents put so much value on their children’s music education. I believe every effort brings an outcome, being big or small. You are doing very well, parents. You should be proud of yourself.

Sand Sculpting Australia extends its popular Peter Pan exhibition
As the new home of Sand Sculpting Australia on the Mornington Peninsula, Boneo Maze became one of the Peninsula's most popular attractions this summer, transforming the story of Peter Pan incredible sand sculptures, set in 27 acres of lush gardens and wetlands. The event has welcomed 1,500 visitors on an almost daily basis to the four metre high sand sculptures which have been created by international artists. Boneo Maze Event Director Evie Wittingslow said “We have been so thrilled to welcome so many families, grandparents and groups to the Maze this summer. The oppotunity to just relax together in the gardens and along wetland boardwalks, enjoy the sand sculptures and be inspired to create personal sand artworks or enjoy the Adventure Zone was a hit. Families across Victoria have welcomed the chance to reconnect in the outdoors with each other. While discovering a classic story that's loved across the generations.” Ms Wtiingslow said that the fifteen awardwinning international and Australian sand sculptors, which have been intricately carved from over 3, 500 tonnes of sand into sand artworks have weathered the summer well. Visitors will also enjoy exploring the hedge mazes, giant chess and outdoor games,

新年伊始，忙得不可开交，工作，孩子，一下子从假期恢复到忙碌的 三点一线，连睡觉都觉得是奢侈的。 跟国内的朋友聊天，抱怨起领导整天开会浪费时间，抱怨领导的施 压，抱怨领导的监视，朋友很困惑：“你在澳洲怎么还这么忙？” 朋友是来过澳洲的，以旅客的身份。在她们眼里，澳洲人都那么悠 闲。忙碌——跟这片大陆格格不入。而当她们坐在车里跟我说着这些感受 的时候，刚刚下班的我沿着海岸线开着车，也在青蓝青蓝的海景中放松眼 球。心却想着：旅游毕竟真是跟工作不一样。 所以，我们最喜欢的旅游国家：日本，也是如此吧。工作居住在日本 的人抑郁，游客却觉得吃吃玩玩买买实在太幸福了。原来只要身份一个小 小的转换，人生便可以是另一番风景。 看过一句话，说当你做了领导的时候，你会发现，最有效简捷的传达 信息方式就是开会。每次我坐在会议室里，总提醒自己去想着这句话。我 讨厌会议，那是因为我不是领导。这些领导开会也不是只是为了挥舞自己 权力的金杖。 可是有时候，我还是说服不了自己，简单的一个信息，一封邮件就能 传达的事情，为什么一定要在下班之后还留下来说一个多小时呢？还有那 些所谓的职业发展讲座，我不知道其他人是不是真的那么受益匪浅，每次 我都觉得这些在讲的人大概觉得我们都是小孩子，什么都不知道。心里一 个清晰的声音：这是在浪费我的生命，我的时间，我的自由。 我要什么自由？我要能决定自己时间的自由。就算这段时间我只是发 呆看着天空，也不愿意你们来告诉我怎么追求幸福。如今网络这么发达， 真的有价值的发言，想听随时可以听。而领导总喜欢强迫我去听一些我早 已经知道，甚至和我价值观完全不符合的东西。为什么领导们会觉得这些 谈话会对我们有所裨益呢？追求权力的人脑子里想什么我永远不懂，也不 会尝试去懂，再怎么卑微，也不能成为一个自己讨厌的人。 来澳洲之后深有感受的一点就是，民主，那是最好的，可惜世界上根 本没有绝对的民主；专制，好像也没有以前想的那么坏，起码人家不伪 装；最可憎的，就是假装民主的专制，什么事情都说要我们讨论讨论，但 是最后我们的想法一点都不会影响决策。我们的讨论就是做一个“民主” 的外壳而已。浪费时间，真的可耻。 有人事的地方总有官僚主义，再加上澳洲本身就是一个慢吞吞的国 家，政府一个电话要等上一个小时还少见吗？人浮于事，跟我们推崇的 “勤奋积极”完全背道而驰。这也是移民一代的一种苦恼吧。没来澳洲之 前，以为来了就会身心自由；来了澳洲之后，才发现，我从来不是一个能 能够完全解放自我的人，我的内心，会有愧疚，会有不安，会有愤恨。 而这些，又有谁能避免？谁能理解？
