Welcome to October To all our beautiful families in the Northern Beaches What could be better than warmth and sunshine surrounding us. I love how the weather is drawing our kids outside to play. Read a great article by Viv Grimson “Why should I send my child outdoors?” Going outside is good for our kids. So let them chase the chickens, hug their guinea pigs, go for a walk and have some “Fun Exercise”. Spring is also the perfect time to get SPRING-ORGANISED. Applications are closing soon for Manly Council's 'Beautiful Blooming Gardens' competition, showcasing the best gardens in the Manly area and publicly acknowledging the creativity and hard work of Manly's most devoted gardeners. Applications for the 'Beautiful Blooming Gardens' competition close on Friday 11 October. A form for free entry to the competition is available from Manly Council's event website (manlyvibe.com.au).
