Spring has sprung! The sun is out, the birds are singing. This is one of my favourite season. I hope you like the warmer weather too. We’ve compiled a few interesting articles for you this month, so I hope you find them informative. We have a few things to giveaway, so I hope you enjoy what we have organised for you. “WE HEEL SICK SOLES” “We Heel Sick Soles” to improve children's healthy feet. From the age of 3, a child's feet begin to develop an arch. This helps balance them as their weight increases and as they become more active on a variety of ground surfaces. Basically their feet, and particularly the arch of their feet, help protect and supports their whole body as they grow. Not all children will develop normally however. If parents have flat feet or pronating ankles (rolling inward), then chances are the child will inherit them as well, even from the grandparents. However when any foot problem is found and treated in the younger years, their feet stand (pardon the pun) a very good chance of being corrected and problems as a teenager or adult can be avoided. Stewart Levy of Custom Foot Australia has been treating children's feet issues and educating parents, (and children) on quality footwear for over 35 years. He assesses them in consultation with the parent and will make a recommendation that will enable their feet to develop and support them throughout their life, just as nature intended. Stewart has just completed a science paper case study on a child flat feet (age 3) & now after 18 years of correction & adjustment the now adult (age 21) does not need to wear any supports in their shoes.
