Edi t orsLetter EditorsLetter Welcome to the July Online Magazine, Can you believe it School Holidays are here again? I’m sure most kids have only just returned to school! Hopefully term 3 will be easier for everyone and we can go back to all our normal activity programs and events ... remembering to always social distance and look after our families. In this months online magazine you will find 3 pages of Kids Corner; this includes a Finder Word Puzzle and 2 Experiments, to keep your little ones busy over the school holidays. We are revisiting some yummy snacks in Kids in the Kitchen, Madi is cooking up Banana Bread and Bonnie is making Chocolate Balls. Hanging with Hannah is looking back over 2 of our early park visits when Hannah was very small. With the lovely winter weather it is great to see children back out riding their bikes and scooters, and playing in the playgrounds. And when the weather turns nasty snuggling up with a good book or a family movie is always nice. I think as a family these winter holidays a few good board games, puzzles and Lego might get a run! Don’t forget if you can manage a nice quiet cuppa during the holidays we have some fantastic reading for you - The Gift of Recycled Play on page 24, may come in handy over the break, as well as My Remedy for School Holiday Boredom, on page 18. Until next month stay safe,

Rachel

This is a playground where Fairy Tales really do come to life! The playground has interac ve play equipment installed which allows children to access stories and digital characters with the help of smart phone or tablet technology. (You also need to download a QR reader and Kompan Smart Playground), with this your li le one can listening to Hans Chris an Anderson's 'The Li le Mermaid' and the 'Ugly Duckling, while out in the fresh air. The playground is set in a nice quiet street and has lots to oer any child. There is bright and colourful toddler play area, which has lots to keep li le ones busy. Hannah really enjoyed the four slides and the four swings, one which is a baby swing and another that is a basket swing. There is also a really challenging climbing wall and a climbing frame to keep your older children busy. There is a nice grassy area for ball games and a half basketball court. The park has some great picnic facili es, sheltered areas with tables and chairs, a bbq, a couple of park benches, a drinking fountain and rubbish bins. However, there are no toilets available.
