Edi t orsLetter EditorsLetter Hello and welcome to the start of Winter, Can you believe, that it is already June? With life being busy all the time it is important to always remember to take time out for yourself. This months magazine has some great articles to have a look at when you sit down for a quick cuppa. You will find 5 Tips to Smash your AM Workout, on page 6. Page 18 has an interesting article The Word ‘No!’ Say it in a different way, and on page 24 you will find Making Music a Natural Part of Every Day. The Kids in Kitchen Mini Chef for this month is Dexter - who dropped by to make some Yummy Chocolate Chip Cookies, that are fantastic for school lunch boxes. The recipe can be found on page 27. Kids Corner this month, page 26 has a Winter themed Crossword Puzzle. With the arrival of Winter and the cooler wet weather, I know it is so much harder to get out and visit the park with our little ones. However, Hannah and I spent a lovely afternoon the other day at the park in cold windy weather (we just missed the rain!). Hannah wasn’t fazed at all, and it was a great chance to release some of the excess energy that had built up from being cooped up inside. The local park is great for a quick play in between rain showers, and it can make such a difference. ( If wet always remember to pack the gumboots, a coat and a towel - to dry off the play equipment.) Hanging with Hannah can be found on page 10. I hope you enjoy reading the June edition, until next month,
Rachel

The weather is changing with Winter now here! However, Hannah s ll found lots of excitement in going outside in between rain clouds to visit the park. She even managed a quick game of Hide-and-Seek. The park has 2 metal slides, a fireman’s pole, 2 swings, a spinner pole, naughts and crosses, a coun ng frame, a play telescope, a clock and some climbing equipment. The park offers a gardened areas around the playground, a half basket ball court, 2 picnic tables,2 park benches, 2 bbq’s, 2 rubbish bins, and a drink fountain. However, again this park does not have toilets. Hannah’s p of the month - Even when the weather is yucky, the park is always fun. (We had, rain, wind, grey clouds and sun on the day we went to the park.)
