OUR FUNDRAISING HEROES! Since the official launch of our Charity of the Year partnership in October 2015, there has been a huge amount of support from staff across the business to get involved and raise as much money as possible. This has ranged from Memory Walks and Tough Mudder, to Quiz Nights and Pool Tournaments. Your generosity will ensure the Alzheimer’s Society can continue to lead the fight against all types of dementia, with Alzheimer’s being the most common. So far we have raised an incredible £7,000, which could pay for 25 people with dementia and carers to attend a Dementia Café for an entire year, helping them to understand their condition and gain practical tips on how to live well with dementia. Thank you! The charity is also planning on visiting key offices across the business to run their Dementia Friends Sessions, which aim to change perceptions and transform the way people think, act and talk about the condition - look out for more details. www.justgiving.com/company/yourhousinggroup
