MARTIN COUNTY — The Stuart Air Show flew into uncertain skies, and landed good results, organizers say. “I understand our attendance was a little down on Saturday over other years,” Eric Ingraham, a member of the show’s marketing committee, said. “But Sunday was very, very good.” Stuart likely benefited from a dearth of air shows in Florida for the last few months. For example, the annual Wings Over Pen-
sacola Air Festival canceled just weeks ago leaving some acts scrambling for other venues. The Pensacola show was scheduled for Nov. 8 to 11. Ingraham said Stuart got Julie Clark Air Shows, because of the sudden pullout in the Panhandle. “She is probably one of the most graceful pilots out there,” he said. “She can take a T-34 to the max.” So, why an air-show drought?
