MARTIN COUNTY — Tinted windows are as Florida as wearing athletic shoes without socks. But the Martin County Sheriff’s Office is keeping an eye out for tint jobs that are too dark. “We warned about 120 people,” Sheriff William Snyder said in a recent phone interview. “We stopped them and determined that the window tinting was too dark.” The push for checking tinting didn’t come from the desk of a bored cop.
