ST. LUCIE COUNTY — A St. Lucie County judge ruled Tyler Hadley will never see the light of day as a free man for the grisley 2011 slayings of his parents at their Port St. Lucie home. St. Lucie County Judge Robert Makemson sentenced Tyler Hadley, 20, on March 20 to two consecutive life sentences without the possibility of parole after a lengthy sentencing hearing that lasted more than a week. Since Hadley was 17 at the time of the

PORT ST. LUCIE — Following in the footsteps of the county, the city of Port St. Lucie has also banned the use of fertilizers containing nitrogen and phosphorous during the rainy season in an effort to salvage what’s left
of the pollution-damaged Indian River Lagoon. Fertilizers containing the two chemicals are prohibited from June 1 to Sept. 30, the ordinance states. Fertilizer containing either chemical is also prohibited during flood watches or warnings, a tropical storm watch or warning and a hurricane watch or warning. It is also banned
when heavy rains are expected. “Heavy rain” is defined as rainfall greater than or equal to 2 inches in a 24-hour period, the ordinance states. Golf courses must assure landscaping practices abide by the Florida Department of Environmental Protection document, “Best Management Practices for

According to a police arrest affidavit, Neely, who lived in St. Lucie West at the time, engaged in sexual intercourse with the student. The student lived with Neely and her husband, the report stated. husband and children moved back to her native West Virginia, Watson said. Neely never split from her husband during the ordeal, Watson said. “They were never separated or apart,” Watson said. “He testified (for her) during the sentencing and they’re very close.” Watson has already filed an appeal. Because the exchange student is from the Bahamas where the legal age of consent is 16, Neely should be released, Watson said. The legal age in West Virginia is also 16. Watson added the seriousness of a crime is elevated by certain factors that add points to the case. Sexual penetration is one, he said. The second argument of Watson’s appeal is Neely is a woman who cannot penetrate the student, he said. Neely is currently incarcerated at the Florida Women’s Reception Center in Ocala until she is permanently assigned an institution.

ST. LUCIE WEST — A 39-yearold former Martin County teacher will spend the next three years in prison for having sex with a 16-year-old Bahamian exchange student. Amie Lou Neely, a former teacher at Community Christian Academy in Stuart, was sentenced on March 3 to three years in state prison, followed by five years of probation. Neely will also have to register as a sex offender and pay a fine of $1,071. Neely was originally charged with four counts of sexual activity with a minor and three counts of sexual battery on a child. In exchange for a “no contest” plea to one count of sexual battery on a child, Neely avoided a trial and potential time on the other charges, her Stuart attorney Robert Watson said. According to a police arrest affidavit, Neely, who lived in St. Lucie West at the time, engaged in sexual intercourse with the student. The student lived with Neely and her husband, the report stated. Neely was arrested on Nov. 11 after her husband found her having sex with thea 16-year-old student in a car at or near St. Lucie West Centennial High School the night before, police said. According to the report, Neely’s husband told police he found the two engaged in sex in a family vehicle after using GPS on his wife’s cell phone. The 16-year-old boy told police the first encounter took place in Neely’s home after her husband went to work. He said he had sex with Neely one additional time in her bedroom, the report states. During questioning, Neely told police she had “feelings of a midlife crisis.” She told police the 16-year-old boy kept “repeatedly asking her to have sex,” the report states. Neely told police she thought if she indulged the teen, he would stop asking. Shortly after the charges were brought against her, Neely, her

Police ‘shatter’ sale of new drug in bust Nicole Rodriguez Staff writer
nrodriguez@YourVoiceWeekly.com
TORINO — What police thought would be a run-of-the-mill marijuana bust in Torino turned into the discovery of a new street drug named “Shatter,” never before seen in the city. On March 25, Port St. Lucie Police detectives arrested David Enrique Tisheh, 23, of the Sanctuary Apartments, for felony possession of marijuana with
intent to sell, felony possession of marijuana over 20 grams and felony possession of drug paraphernalia, after detectives searched his home stemming from a neighbor’s complaint. Tisheh has since made his $15,750 bond, jail officials said. During the search, police found approximately 227 grams of marijuana. Eighty-six grams were pre-packaged for sale along with 27 baggies of “Shatter,” which is a derivative of cannabis, similar to hash oil. Detectives also located a box of machinery used

David Enrique Tisheh they suspect their children are using street drugs. “It’s usually wrapped into a white paper,” Sabol said. “It looks like someone was just chewing gum and they put it in a paper to throw it away.” “Shatter” is also referred to as “BHO,” short for butane hash oil. A regular gram of marijuana can sell for $10 to $20, depending on the grade. “Shatter” can go for $50 to $60 on the street, Sabol said. The Martin County Sheriff’s Office has not encountered the drug, spokeswoman Christine Christofek Weiss said.

to make the “Shatter.” Along with the marijuana, “Shatter” and drug paraphernalia, detectives also seized $4,485 in cash, police spokesman Master Sgt. Frank Sabol said. Shatter, like hash oil, is a pure form of THC, the main mind-altering ingredient found in a marijuana plant, Sabol said. Although Port St. Police were aware the drug existed, they had never seen it before, until now, Sabol said. The potent marijuana derivative is made by first deep freezing a marijuana bud and then using butane gas to extract THC crystals and hash oil. The crystals and oil are inserted into a glass tube and then vacuumed out and placed onto a piece of paper to dry. The final product is a rock hard substance that has a brown or black hue, Sabol said. In some cases the drug is a yellowish, amber color. “If you hit it, it will break apart,” Sabol said of how the drug got its name. People can smoke and eat “Shatter,” Sabol said. Sabol is cautioning parents to keep an eye out for “Shatter” if

murders, he was not eligible for the death penalty. Hadley has since been transported from the St. Lucie County Jail to the Central Florida Reception Center in Orlando where he will be held until he’s assigned a permanent prison. Hadley’s public defender, Diamond Litty asked Makemson to recommend incarceration at Okeechobee Correctional Institution. Makemson granted the request to no objection from the state. While rendering his sentence, Makemson said he did not believe Hadley was intoxicated during the murders, adding he believes Hadley is antisocial and lies. “The court takes no pleasure in imposing this sentence, but based upon the law and the evidence provided to me, the court finds that this is the only appropriate sentence,” Makemson said. Hadley admitted to the July 16, 2011 beating deaths of his parents, Blake, 54, and Mary Jo Hadley, 47, with a claw hammer, adding he was under the influence of drugs and alcohol and was experiencing auditory and visual hallucinations during the time of the double murder. Hadley told several doctors he drank 15 beers before killing his parents. The Hadley family lived on the 300 block of Northeast Granduer Avenue in Port St. Lucie. His change in plea from “not guilty” to “no contest” bypassed a trial.
Hadley, who briefly attended St. Lucie West Centennial High School at one point, cleaned up the savage scene and threw a party later that night with his parents’ bodies stashed under debris in a bedroom next to the murder weapon. The teen, who was 153 days shy of turning 18, funded the party with $2,000 he withdrew from his dead parents’ bank accounts, prosecutors said. Hadley’s mother was sitting at a computer desk when Hadley began the beating. Blake Hadley heard his wife’s screams and entered the living area from a bedroom and was then attacked, the sentencing hearing revealed. Blake Hadley sustained 39 major blows to his head and body from the hammer and had numerous defensive wounds. Mary Jo Hadley received 36 blows, St. Lucie medical examiners testified. Both Hadley’s were alive and suffered significantly through both of their murders, the examiners said. Both parents asked their son, “Why, Tyler, why?” during the attacks, prosecutors said. The teen Hadley responded with, “Why the f-ck not?” Blake Hadley was an FP&L employee at the St. Lucie Nuclear Power Plant and Mary Jo was a St. Lucie County elementary teacher. Moments before Makemson handed down Hadley’s punishment, Hadley addressed the court and both sides of his family, who were present. “Not a single day goes by that I don’t think about my parents or

my whole family … I don’t expect forgiveness,” Hadley said. “I just want everyone to know I am truly sorry for the acts that I’ve committed.” Hadley’s former cell block mate testified about Hadley’s behavior in the St. Lucie County Jail. Justin Toney testified Hadley said he planned to kill his parents for weeks for “drugs, money and the devil.” Hadley also described the act, Toney said. “He said that’s how he knew that they loved him, because they did not try to stop him,” Toney testified. Hadley also autographed several newspaper clippings in jail with the slogan “Hammertime,” evidence showed. Prosecutors argued Hadley premeditated the murders and called several former friends who testified Hadley spoke of killing his parents months before the crime. Hadley also hid his parents’ cell phones just before the murders, assistant state attorney Tom Bakkedahl said. The night before the killings, Hadley admitted he stood over his sleeping parents with gardening shears. Through cross examination of defense experts who diagnosed Hadley with a major depressive disorder, Bakkedahl exposed in-
consistencies among the stories Hadley told state and defense experts and psychiatrists he was treated by through the years. During his closing arguments, Bakkedahl called Hadley “manipulative” and a “liar.” “Make no mistake about it, he was not drunk at the time of the murders,” Bakkedahl said. “He made all these different statements and lies because he’s trying to offer some explanation that will not make him look like a monster.” Before the murders, Hadley was being treated for anxiety and depression with the prescription drug Celexa. A defense expert said the drug could have induced “obsessive violent behavior.” Hadley told numerous doctors before July 16, 2011, that he had suicidal thoughts. He denied having hallucinations and homicidal thoughts. After the murders, Hadley told a jail psychiatrist he was hearing whispers and seeing shadows, court testimony showed. Court proceedings also revealed Hadley’s extensive medical and mental health history. Hadley was born premature and weighed only 3 pounds, 10 ounces. Throughout his infancy, Hadley’s head circumference was well below average, an expert

ize that is not possible at this time. But we pray that sometime in the future, he will have the opportunity to rehabilitate and have a life on the outside,” said Reynolds, who added she believes Hadley’s parents have forgiven him for the crime. Blake Hadley’s family asked for a far harsher punishment. “What Tyler did was, in our opinion, based on pure selfishness,” Blake Hadley’s brother, Michael Hadley, said. “Just before he committed this cowardly attack on his defenseless mother and father, he was only thinking about pleasing himself and his friends without ever considering the horrible pain and torture he was about to put his loving parents through, not to mention the life-altering effects his brother, grandparents and the rest of his family would endure for life. He gave us a life sentence.” Michael Hadley said Blake and Mary Jo were soul mates, elated by the birth of their two sons. Michael Hadley spoke of how a happy Blake embraced each son in the hospital at the time of their births. “Little did we know that, that little bundle of joy would commit the most heinous, cowardly, cruel murder of the loving parents that brought him into this world and provided him with a wonderful family environment, with shelter, clothes, food, education, health care and fought for him when he would get into trouble, which consumed much of their income,” Michael Hadley said. A sentence of life without the possibility of parole would keep the family safe, Michael Hadley said. Tyler Hadley’s older brother, Ryan Hadley, said under oath that he loves his brother and hurts for him, but believes he should never walk free. “What I want is for him to get the maximum penalty possible which I understand is life in prison without parole,” Ryan Hadley said.

testified. At age 10, Hadley was diagnosed with anxiety and depression. By 12, he was being treated for his small body size with growth hormones stemming from a thyroid condition he still struggles with today. In 2011, Hadley finished six months of Acctuane treatment for acne. The drug has reportedly led some teens to suicide. By the time of the murders, Hadley told doctors he helped commit 20 robberies and was abusing alcohol, marijuana and ecstasy. Jail doctors said Hadley is now stabilized behind bars by a 100-mg dose of the antidepressant Zoloft. During the defense’s closing, Litty tried to establish that Hadley was a juvenile who could be rehabilitated. She requested a sentence of two 30-year sentences to run concurrently with the possibility of parole. “Tyler is distinguishable from an adult.” Litty said. Perhaps the most emotional testimony came from Hadley’s maternal grandmother Maggie DiVittorio, 87. A despondent DiVittorio described her grandson as a loving, yet insecure boy who was suffering from a headache during the family’s last dinner together at Longhorn Steakhouse in Tradition the eve before the murders. “He just always felt like he was a step below everybody else. No matter how many times I told him ‘Honey, Tyler, no, no, no, you’re fine, you’re OK, you’re great and you’re a good kid, don’t worry about everyone else,’” DiVittorio said. A schism between the Hadley and DiVittorio families was evident. Both sides read drastically different victim impact statements. Kelly Reynolds, Mary Jo Hadley’s niece, asked the judge for leniency. “Although we would like to have Tyler with us, we real-

PGA Golf Club unveils golferfriendly ‘book online and save’ program FOR YOUR VOICE NEWS & VIEWS
ST. LUCIE WEST — PGA Golf Club today unveiled a friendly, yet sophisticated, state-of-theart online reservation system, that enables golfers to easily “Book Online and Save” on advanced tee times via the web and mobile-phone applications. Resort golf customers are now able to reserve their rounds at the facility as much as six months in advance, a tremendous expansion from the previous 45-day booking window. Designed by Golfswitch, the new yield management system is similar in its structure to what is used in both the hotel and airline industries, which will enable golfers instant access to discounts during times of excess supply. When offered, these discounts can vary depending on season, weather and even time of day. Rounds can be reserved either on PGAVillage. com or PGA Golf Club’s mobile app: PGA Village (App Store). “As a popular golf resort destination, we want to make it as easy as possible for golfers to reserve their rounds both online and by mobile phone, in order to have access to the widest pool of tee times available at a price that reflects supply and demand,” said PGA Golf Club general manager Jimmy Terry. “PGA Golf Club’s new ‘Book Online and Save’ yield management system is dedicated to bringing you the best discount we offer for that round, should it be available. This also gives you the opportunity to reserve your rounds much sooner than before, as the booking engine now allows resort reservations 180 days in advance, so you can plan your
trip to PGA Golf Club early and often.” Located an hour north of West Palm Beach, PGA Golf Club at PGA Village in Port St. Lucie, is a pure golf resort destination that features three diverse, challenging layouts along Florida’s Treasure Coast by Tom Fazio and Pete Dye. The Wanamaker Course by Fazio provides a stunning backdrop against breathtaking palm trees and palmettos. His distinct Carolina touch is also evident on the Ryder Course with rolling hills, majestic pines and challenging water hazards. Weaving through 100 acres of wetlands, the Dye Course is a links-style layout with pine straw rough, vast coquina waste bunkers and grass-based bunkers. The nearby 35-acre PGA Center for Golf Learning and Performance provides the ultimate learning environment for players of all levels. With 100 swing stations and nine bunker types simulating play worldwide, the acclaimed facility is an ideal destination to tune up for the 2014 season. Also onsite is the PGA Museum of Golf, which features golf’s most storied trophies; Donald Ross’ workbench from circa 1900; vast Ryder Cup and PGA Championship memorabilia; a tribute to 2013 PGA Champion Jason Dufner; and the PGA Golf Professional Hall of Fame. Guests receive complimentary admission. Discounts are not applicable for membership and frequent play programs through “Book Online and Save.” For more information, please visit PGAVillage.com; and to learn more about the PGA of America, logon to PGAMediaCenter.com.

lush, green lawns year-round, a solution may lie right here on the Treasure Coast, one small business owner says. OceanGrown, a company based in Fort Pierce, produces a product that city and county residents can turn to without harming the lagoon. It may even help the troubled waterway, the company’s CEO John Hartman said. “This is one of those very few products you can count on during a ban,” Hartman said, adding his product is not banned for sale during the rainy season in Pinellas County and the Tampa Bay area. Hartman designed and developed technology 14 years ago that collects sea water from 30 to 40 miles off of Fort Pierce’s coast, just beyond the Gulf Stream. “The Gulf Stream kind of traps the polluted water by the coast,” Hartman said. OceanSolution N-P Free is created from ocean minerals extracted from Atlantic Ocean sea water and is examined for pollutants and impurities afterward. After the potassium-enriched substance passes lab exams, it’s packaged and ready for sale, Hartman said. The product takes a little bit longer to work than nitrogen and phosphorous fertilizers, Hartman said. “When you put a lot of nitrogen and phosphorus (on grass), it’s like grass on crack,” Hartman said. While nitrogen and phosphorus works five to six days after application, the organic solution takes about 10 days before a homeowner will see effects. Yards are also less susceptible to disease and pesticides, Hartman said. Scotts Miracle-Gro Company’s landscaping arm uses Hartman’s product in Florida during the wet season, he said. And it’s safe for children and pets to immediately play in the area, Hartman said. “Spray and play” is the policy, he said. “Kids can roll in it, wet their eyes and put their fingers in their mouths,” Hartman said. “It’s intrinsically safe.” Runoff won’t be an issue, either, Hartman added. “If our product got into our water source, it could only do good,” he said. A gallon goes for around $50, Hartman said. The product is mixed with water and usually lasts a homeowner with an average-sized property the entire rainy season, Hartman said. FORT PIERCE — Settings as diverse as Brooklyn, New York, the high seas and the English countryside will be featured in plays presented by the Pineapple Playhouse during its 2014-2015 season. Dawn Achin, a Pineapple board member and chair of the play reading committee, said that the group read nearly 100 scripts in order to select the upcoming season. “It’s no easy task to choose only five scripts out of literally hundreds of possibilities,” she said. “Thankfully, our committee has dozens of years of experience in acting, directing and producing amongst them. That, in combination with their love and passion for the arts, allowed us to put together a season we have no doubt will be another blockbuster year.” While the lineup has been announced, play dates have not. Stay tuned to this space for more information. “Funny Money” by Ray Cooney is a comedy-farce set in London

Don Bestor it’s always a great learning experience for the students, who learn some of the tricks and nuances of playing live before a full-house crowd. At least, we hope it will be a full-house crowd. That’s where you come in. Our student musicians come out to audition and play before a live audience. Whenever you come to a Jazz Jam, drop a few bucks in the buckets at a Waterside Blues concert, or send us a check to help fund the master classes and in-school presentations and workshops we present, you’re helping to support the scholarship program that funds aspiring young musicians. Without your help, many of them would simply not be able to afford to go to school. Second Annual Jazz & Blues Festival wraps up a successful week hat a great party it was! Our Second Annual Fort Pierce Jazz & Blues Festival just finished up by the waterside in Fort Pierce, and it was a rollicking success! The terrific crowds, cooperative weather and fantastic music worked together to make one festive and fabulous week of music. It’s a chance for all of us to give back to the community which supports us all year long, and it’s a chance for us to raise awareness (and hopefully a few dollars) to help support scholarships for young, talented musicians in the area who want to pursue an education in the field of music. Just because we were partying every day on the waterside, bringing you exquisitely live jazz and blues all week long, we kept up our usual events and presented music in the evenings, too. Tuesday evening is always a blast at the Sunrise Black Box Theatre with our weekly Jazz Jam, and we thoroughly enjoy the alternating Wednesday evenings at Port St. Lucie Botanical Gardens. And now that we’ve finished up with the Jazz and Blues Festival, it’s time for us to focus on auditioning student musicians as potential scholarship recipients. Who knew a ‘final exam’ could be so much fun? Every week at the Tuesday evening Jazz Jam at the Sunrise Black Box, we’ll feature another student who is vying for a $1,000 scholarship. They’ll have a chance to join the professional musicians on stage and share their musical magic with the crowd. It’s a way for the students to get some hands-on experience playing “with the big boys,” and

Tevye in the onboard production of “Fiddler on the Roof. They join forces and stage an original revue, “Meshugah —Nuns — The Ecumenical Nunsense “Meshugah is the Yiddish word for crazy, so you can get an idea of the chaos that ensues. The director is still to be named. Buffalo, N.Y., during the Eisenhower administration is the setting for “Over the Tavern, a drama-comedy by Tom Dudzick. The Pazinski family lives in a cramped apartment. When the youngest child, Rudy, 12, questions the family’s values and the Catholic Church and goes up against Sister Clarissa, things go downhill rapidly. John Procino will direct. The English countryside has often been the setting for mysteries and melodramas, and “The Sound of Murder, by William Fairchild, is no exception. It features a writer of children’s stories who is beloved by the public and is a sadist at home. When the man’s wife turns to someone else for affection, murder is in the air, but who is going to be murdered and by whom, will only be revealed by seeing the show. Jorene Dionne is the director. Spoto’s celebrating anniversary, and helping kids Tammy Raits

MARTIN COUNTY — There’s a party going on, and you’re invited! On Wednesday, April 16, from 3:30-9:30 p.m., John Spoto, owner of Spoto’s Oyster Bar in Stuart, is throwing a big bash to celebrate the restaurant’s successful first year in business. But the event is also a fundraiser for Hibiscus House, the mission of which is to provide safety for abused, abandoned and neglected children through prevention programs, residential programs, shelter programs and recovery programs. It will cost a meager $5 to attend, and is well worth it. And here’s why you gotta love Spoto’s: 50 percent of the proceeds will go to Hibiscus House. A quick web search — and information from a local source who works with many local business owners on charity events — reveals the percentage of proceeds most businesses give ranges from 1 percent to 25 percent. “I like to help children,” Spoto said. “(Hibiscus House) seems to be very organized. I trust what they do. “ Even if you’re like I am and don’t care for oysters, there are plenty of other items to choose from on the 11x17 double-sided menu which is printed daily. But we’ll

For the party, Spoto’s is offering $1 Blue Point Oysters, shrimp cocktail and cherry stone clams. Stuart reggae band Fresh Catch will entertain from 6-9 p.m.; there will be an oyster-eating contest, and raffles and prizes. Beverage sponsors include Yuengling beer , Cruzan Rum, and Skyy Vodka.
There will be a cookout downstairs. There couldn’t be a prettier place to host a party. If you’ve never been to Spoto’s, (formerly Arthur’s Dockside, for you long-timers), you’re in for a treat. No matter where you’re seated, a beautiful view of the Roosevelt Bridge spanning the St. Lucie
River awaits. The huge plateglass windows that encompass three-quarters of the dining area – which slide open ALL THE WAY – offer a magnificent view of the river and the lights illuminating the bridge after the sun goes down.

Mitch Kloorfain/chief photographer Jumbo shrimp and a large selection of oysters to serve as appetizers before the main course at Spoto’s Oyster Bar in downtown Stuart.
SPOTO’S from page 29 The party will be outside, but in case of rain, guests will be ushered into the covered overhang area (Spoto’s also houses a downstairs bar, and the building is constructed on pillars – wise, considering the proximity to the river). Now, let’s talk about the food. Usually when we do a dining review, we ask the server to bring whatever dish the restaurant wants to promote. This time, I ordered exactly what I wanted: a medium-rare filet smothered in béarnaise sauce – best I’ve ever had. Anyone who dabbles in French cuisine knows the sauces are the staples of any meal they accompany, and they have to be done right. Bearnaise sauce is an egg yolk-based sauce flavored with tarragon – but it’s tricky to get the reduction phase down without overcooking the yolks as you blend them with the already warmed combination of shallots, melted butter and champagne vinegar. It’s the mark of a master to serve what I enjoyed – a per-
fectly blended, creamy, flawless presentation and exquisite blend of flavors which would enhance any cut of beef. My companion – OK, Mitch, our chief photographer — had the macademia nut-encrusted dolphin, served with Key Lime tartar sauce. I took a bite – delicious! Tender, flaky, and the nut “breading” was just light enough to add texture, but not overpowering in flavor. In fact, I don’t think either of us touched the accompanying sauce – didn’t need it. The menu is extensive – starting with the massive selection of oysters –from a half dozen Blue Points from Long Island Sound ($14.75) to the Asian oysters, served with sour cream, wakame (seaweed –based ingredient. For the Thai-cuisine initiated, it’s used as a base for miso soup), tobico, (Japanese flying fish roe – caviar) and soy ginger ($11.75). But a favorite is Spoto’s famous Oyster Shooter, a raw oyster served in a shot glass with Tabasco sauce, horseradish and cocktail sauce ($2.25). From there, we go to an extensive 24-item appetizer section, ranging from jumbo shrimp cocktail ($13.75) to Oysters Rockefeller, prepared with fresh spinach, a dash of the French liqueur pernod and flavorful asiago cheese ($11.75). The salad menu offers the everything from a basic house salad ($5.75) to a portobello mushroom and goat cheese dish ($9.75). There are five soups: New England Clam Chowder, Black Bean, Bahamian Conch Chowder, gazpacho, (served cold, as it should be); and Seafood Gumbo, a mixture of shrimp, scallops, salmon and mussels. Entrees range from Stuffed Chicken Florentine with spinach and goat cheese ($18.50), to my afore-mentioned delicious eight-ounce filet with béarnaise sauce ($34.75); 11 selections
under the “pasta, fish and shellfish” dishes, including live Maine lobster ($29.75). And then you flip the menu over for the sushi selections … 23 items to choose … from the very basic edamame ($5) to the “king of the sea,” a seafood-and-vegetable combination of poached scallops, steamed spinach, asparagus, topped with shrimp, white fish, salmon, tuna and avocado ($28). But let’s not forget the party. The full menu will be available, along with an extensive wine list and full bar, and of course, a view to die for! Be there, or you’re missing out. Not only will you be helping celebrate a local business’s first year, but you will also be helping to contribute to a much-needed and worthy organization – Hibiscus House. I look forward to seeing you there. Tammy Raits is managing editor of Your Voice News & Views.
