TRADITION — As the exterior walls of building one in the future Mann Research Center complex were erected last week, the Treasure Coast took another stride forward in becoming the premier Research Coast of Florida. The building, designed for clinical research and trials for diseases including diabetes, HIV/AIDS, cardiovascular disease and cancer, will connect with Martin Health System’s new Tradition Medical Center, which is set for a December opening. LUCIE WEST — Special needs students from St. Lucie County high schools seeking guidance from the St. Lucie Mets recently trained with players on a game day, but it was the professionals that left the field feeling inspired. “It’s a great time.
