Think Zinc for increased Libido Zinc is essential for the production of normal testosterone levels in men, which is important for fueling sexual desire. It is also important for ensuring adequate sexual function and reproductive health, as well as promoting bone growth, muscle growth, immune function and proper energy levels. This important mineral also helps to increase sperm count.
Love yourself, improve your relationship How confident do you feel? If the answer is Not very, then you need to take charge, and boost your selfconfidence. Don't fall into the trap of rely ing on your partner for confidence. This kind of dependency is not healthy. Make sure that you have some independence and hold on to your individuality. Focus on positive aspects of yourself, rather than negative. When you feel good about yourself, your partner and other people will notice this confidence and be drawn to you.
The ‘C’ Word Discussing ' c'ommitment can seem like a scary prospect, but it shouldn't be! True commitment in a relationship is a serious thing, so if you want to make the right decisions you need to be open and honest. Pick a good time to talk to your partner about what you want from your relationship in the future. Remember that you matter too. Commitment is not just about your partner, it is also about you! Make sure you know your own feelings, independently of what your partner thinks or wants. Whilst paying attention to their feelings and thoughts, don't let them ov erride your own opinions.

desire, pomegranate is worthy of its historical title. The round red coloured fruit promotes testosterone levels, which is important for sexual desire in men and women. A recent study involving almost 60 volunteers proved this. Volunteers aged between 20 and 65 had their testosterone levels measured in their blood and those who were given a source of pomegranate to drink regularly demonstrated increased testosterone levels. The same study found positive emotion was highest amongst those who had a regular source of fruit extract and that levels of the stress足 inducing hormone cortisol was reduced amongst this group. After the study, men had improved growth of facial hair and women had strengthened bones as a result of pomegranate encouraging testosterone production. Pomegranates contain phytoestrogens, which manage hormone secretions. This makes them valuable in alleviating
menopausal symptoms such as hot flushes. Paediatric Research found that mothers consuming pomegranate regularly had infants with better protected brains. It also helped prevent premature birth and support healthy birth weight. Pomegranates are particularly valuable to men suffering from erectile dysfunction, or want to improve their sperm health and mobility. The benefit was found as a side effect to studies investigating regular pomegranate supplementation in treating prostate cancer. Researchers claimed that pomegranates promoted the production of antioxidants gluthione and catalase, which prevent sperm damage. This makes the juice effective. So not only is pomegranate an effective and natural aphrodisiac, it is also able to promote healthy sexual function, thus encouraging and supporting healthy sexuality.

As its popularity spreads beyond its native home, more and more people benefit from Ayurvedic practices. It is not too hard to find ways to incorporate Ayurvedic herbs into your health care regimes. So whether you are suffering from low libido, or something more severe, regularly taking Ayurvedic remedies can help you. From the most popular libido boosting herb, Ashwagandha to the everyday cooking condiment, Ginger, these act as natural aphrodisiacs and are strong contenders against Viagra. Ashwagandha and Shatavari are becoming better known in the Western world as medical professionals and everyday users advocate their benefits. Men wishing to treat erectile dysfunction, low sperm count, irregular sperm or premature ejaculation, or women wanting to balance their hormones, control PMS and encourage fertility, can now reply on the power of Ayurvedic herbs. So if you prefer a natural alternative, then Ayurvedic herbs could be just what you need to get you in the mood.

Check out some of the most potent: Ashwagandha - Millions of people across India and around the world rely
on this powerful ancient Ayurvedic herb. Also known as Winter Cherry or Indian Ginseng, Ashwagandha has been used help maintain a healthy and active libido. It has been proven to be an effective and safe natural aphrodisiac for people of all ages. This powerful herb aids erectile dysfunction and impotency, whilst restoring vitality and vigour. Taking Ashwagandha can give you strength and energy and could provide rejuvenated sexual desire and enhanced performance. Ashwagandha is also an effective stress reliever one of the most common causes of erectile dysfunction.
Jaiphal - With the scientific name MyristicaFragrans, you may know the Jaiphal herb by the more common name of Nutmeg. Taking Jaiphal (Nutmeg) makes other the absorption of herbal remedies more effective. Some of its aphrodisiac properties come from the fact that it helps to stimulate and support the central nervous system. This can mean you experience improved sexual vigour, with increased endurance. Though Jaiphal is stimulating, it can also be mildly tranquilising. Therefore it is useful to help those experiencing premature ejaculation. A common Ayurvedic recipe for taking Jaiphal is mixing it with honey and about half a boiled egg. This strange sounding snack is a powerful aphrodisiac, so don't be put off by the unusual combination. Of course, Jaiphal can be incorporated into your curries which may be more appealing to you. Taken either way, Jaiphal may tickle more than your tastebuds!
Shilajit - Shilajit, regarded as the
Amrit or "nectar of Go d" , is a herb regarded as a gift to mankind. Shilajit is thought to boost many different aspects of health and vitality. It's literal meaning is " something that can overcome rocks" , emphasising what a very powerful health tool it can be. Shilajit is often prescribed as a natural aphrodisiac, enhancing the libido and encouraging romantic aspirations. Like SalabMishri and Gokshura, this herbal powerhouse can help to naturally raise your sperm count, and also improve the quality of sperm. Like Gokshura and Shatavari, it regulates the production of sex hormones to normalise libido. Shilajitis used to enhance general sexual prowess, but the downside is that it can be difficult to find and often fairly expensive.
Shatavari - Shatavari is a
bittersweet flavoured plant, which is considered the equivalent to Ashwagandha in terms of sexual health. Whereas Ashwagandha has particular benefits to men's sexual health, Shatavari is good for women. Shatavari means " she with a 100 husbands" . For Women, this herb is particularly useful for naturally tackling infertility by effectively nourishing and toning the reproductive organs. It does this by purifying the blood that flows to them. Shatavari helps to restore balance to pH in the cervical area which is important to sexual health as it helps to prevent infections and dryness. For those looking to conceive, by regularly taking this herb, you can improve your chances of success. For women at risk of miscarriages, taking Shatavari can help decrease this risk slightly. Ayurvedic practitioners often recommend this female friendly herb to women to going through menopause. It eases hot flushes and improves libido. Men can also benefit from this Shatavari, as it can prevent abnormally formed sperm.

Healthy Sex Get in touch with your own pleasure A great way to boost your sex life is to get in touch with your own sexual pleasure. Don't be shy, be objective about it. Start with a basic self anatomy lesson, thinking about your body, where things are and how they work. You may need to become more intimate with yourself before you can share this with a partner to tell them what you find most pleasurable. Do some selfexploration, you can find out what works, what you enjoy and then you can translate this to your sex life.
- Sarah Dessen
Sometimes the heart sees what is invisible to the eye
Sex is hugely beneficial in a number of ways. Not only does it bond and connect couples together but it can also improve communication, boost blood flow, reduce stress and help to boost the immune system. On top of the enjoyment factor there the benefits associated with cardiovascular exercise, if you are lucky enough to have sex that gets your heart pounding!
Sexting getting it right The golden rule of sexytexting or ' Sexting' is if you don't know how they will react, then avoid it. Sexting is a consensual and fun experience for all parties involved. First make sure you are both on the same wavelength in real life. Even better, only sext someone you have had an intimate relationship with. This way you are both comfortable and unlikely to offend each other. Remember Sexts like other nonverbal communication are totally open to interpretation so be aware of this before sending. Less is more so exercise some restraint and be tasteful with your messages. It is more about teasing than full out dirty talk. Finally stick to words rather than pictures it will avoid embarrassment for either party! lovematters - express

Chocolate lovers will be pleased to hear that cocoa based delights can encourage afternoon delight! Full of serotonin, the feel good hormone, chocolate is sure to get you in the mood. When couples in their 20s had their heart rates and brains wired up, having chocolate melted on their tongues caused a more intense and longer lasting 'buzz' than kissing their heart rates doubled! Interestingly, the same reaction to chocolate occurred in both sexes.
Chocolate Pudding Pie (serves 10-12)
This scrumptious chocolate pudding pie looks stunning topped with summer berries and a light dusting of icing sugar.
Method 1. Preheat the oven to 180°c/gas mark 4. 2. For the base, melt the butter and chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of
barely simmering water, making sure the bowl doesn't touch the water . Stir until completely melted and combined. Crush the biscuits (you can use a blender) into fine crumbs and add to the melted mixture.
3. Butter the bottom and sides of a 23cm loosebased tin. Put the base in the tin, press it down and let it chill for half an hour in the fridge.
4. Meanwhile, for the filling, melt the butter and dark chocolate in the same way.
Put the eggs, sugar and cream in the blender and mix together. Allow the melted chocolate mixture to cool (otherwise you risk the cream curdling). Once cool, add the melted chocolate mixture to the blender and blend together again, making sure that all the sugar is mixed in.
5. Remove the base from the fridge and pour the filling over the base. Put in the oven and cook for 45 minutes until firm. It will rise up as it cooks but, once removed, will shrink again slightly. 6. Allow to cool and serve with a generous serving of crème fraîche. This is delicious made the day before and means you can avoid lastminute panics.
Ingredients For the base: 80g unsalted butter, plus extra for greasing 60g Green & Black’s dark (70–85% cocoa solids) chocolate 225g digestive biscuits
For the filling: 180g unsalted butter 180g Green & Black’s dark (70% cocoa solids) chocolate, broken into pieces 4 medium free-range eggs 180g fairtrade dark muscovado sugar 180ml double cream Crème fraîche, to serve

Q& A Dear Love Doctor, My husband and I have recently been blessed with a beautiful baby boy. We have been home for 2 weeks now, and I hve been receiving conflicting information about how soon after childbirth is it safe to have sex, please can you offer some clarity on this subject. Anon Love Doctor says... Gynaecologists often advise that new mothers abstain from sex for up to six weeks after the birth, in order to allow healing time, but it really depends on your individual circumstances. This amount of time should be sufficient for any soreness to wear off and it is perfectly normal to want to recover the physical intimacy with your partner. The first time you do have sex take it very slowly. Your husband needs to understand that your body has changed and will still be recovering. Remember that it is possible to get pregnant almost straight away, so if this is not what you want, make sure to use appropriate contraception. For many women, the mental and emotional impact of going through childbirth can have a negative effect on their sex life. There may be pain, or fear that intercourse will cause pain. There can also be stress (due to having a very small baby around), reducing the desire or time for sex. Some women may also feel unattractive after going through childbirth as a result of the changes this has made to their bodies. Remember you are your husband's chosen sexual partner and you will still be completely desirable to them 足 perhaps even more beautiful for bringing such a magical gift into the world! You may fear getting pregnant again too soon. In order to remove this as a possibility, discuss concerns with your husband outside of the bedroom so that you are both clear about your wishes and can just relax and enjoy yourselves.
