Traditional. The Trades Of The Past - Traditional Trades​ “长江后浪 推前浪” “The waves behind drive on those before” The new generation replaces the old. As the traditional trades nowadays are being neglected by the new generation, the traditional trades are in crisis. This project seeks to create documentary photography of those historical, traditional, and vanishing trades. This project, Photoshoot the craftsman who spends their whole life and focus, guarding on the traditional Trades.


Traditional Bean Crisp Biscuit There is many sub-ethnic groups of Malaysian Chinese includes Hokkien, Cantonese, Hakka, Teochew, Hainan, Foochow, and Kwongsai. The Teochew bean crisp biscuit is made out of the heritage Teochew recipe. The traditional recipe and the traditional method of making give the bean crisp biscuit a taste of “Home Town Teo Chew”.




Early In The Morning At about 5,6 at the morning, he starts preparing things and material needed for the bean crisp biscuits.
