Yuxuan Peng

Hello, my name is Yuxuan Peng, and I am currently an MArch student at the University of Waterloo, I graduated with a Bachelor of Engineering in Architecture from Jinling Institute of Technology, achieving a general GPA of 3.68/4.5 and a major GPA of 4.1/4.5. My academic journey has provided me with a solid foundation in architectural principles and design. During my internships, I gained hands-on professional experience at Office Moments, J.H.Z.G. Art | Design Studio, and Nanjing Second Architectural Design Institute Co. Ltd. I worked on various projects such as the GLP Jingqiao Logistics Park Renovation and the Siyang International Fishing Museum, where I contributed to 3D modeling, case studies, schematic design, drawing, analysis diagrams and producing report texts. In my academic career, I participated in the FW Ji Village Revitalization and Factory Renovation projects, both of which were published in Archisource. I was also involved in activities such as the IARA Rural Research Centre-Empowering Countryside Round Table and the JIT Student Union, where I organized events and wrote summaries. Additionally, I conducted research and wrote reports for the JIT Summer Social Practice for College Students program. I have received several awards for my work, including the WASA World Architecture Student Award (6th Place, Best 100), First Prize at Milan Design Week, the Asian Digital Art Design Competition 2022 Bronze Award, and the 2023 G-CROSS Creative Award Bronze Award. I was also honored with multiple scholarships, such as the National Encouragement Scholarship and the JIT Excellent Student Scholarship. My technical skills include proficiency in software like Sketchup, Vray, Enscape, Rhino7, PS, ID, AI, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD. I also have certified expertise in Chinese painting (Level 7), along with strong skills in sketching, watercolor, and pen drawing. I am eager to bring my skills and experience to your team.
