Because the three-dimensional enclosure relationship is difficult to represent on the drawings, the designers wished to extract spatial elements with three-dimensional enclosing spatial features for visual expression. By comparison, the designers found that the corner is the most representative system of visual expression.

Basic elements transformation based on the position change between volume and volume. The position change of different volumes can form different space size and offer different height experience in section analysis. Specifically, the space between the volumes can form a positive or negative space through the volume to enclosing and integrating another volume. In addition, the flat layer, the half-high layer or the different layers can also form a various spacial experience in the space between the volume. 29
